I really feel sorry for people like you. That “charade” helped contain collectivism for fifty years. Collectivism, whether communist, socialist, marxist, killed 100+ million people this century.
Here’s a little tip that might expand your blinkered world view. Read some books that your peevish professors would never dream of recommending to you. Start with “The Black Book of Communism : Crimes, Terror, Repression” by French writer Stephane Courtois.
Our country, though very far from perfect, fought, and continues to fight a long and noble war against communism. It’s is far more insidious, and far harder to kill than even Nazism.
I suppose it's fair to say that's just enough reason to have a few weapons handy in case the opportunity arose where we could eliminate a few of you.

As a member of that particular "small group" of patriots (see post #60), I can assure you anarchists that you were lucky that the police, after promising us the protection of the flag, had asked us to disperse before you got there. Since we were all citizen volunteers, not bound by the "rules of engagement" or any duty to uphold the law, any assaults on us by your bunch would have been countered by equally savage acts of self-defense. Let's just leave it at that so we don't get into a pseudo-macho pissing contest here and violate the FreeRepublic.com rules regarding profanity, threats or violence posts.
