As a member of that particular "small group" of patriots (see post #60), I can assure you anarchists that you were lucky that the police, after promising us the protection of the flag, had asked us to disperse before you got there. Since we were all citizen volunteers, not bound by the "rules of engagement" or any duty to uphold the law, any assaults on us by your bunch would have been countered by equally savage acts of self-defense. Let's just leave it at that so we don't get into a pseudo-macho pissing contest here and violate the FreeRepublic.com rules regarding profanity, threats or violence posts.
