In light of the Daffodil Principle where individual efforts over time add up to a mammoth contribution, we are looking at ways to use this lesson as we seek to promote conservatism, the Republican Party and the administration of George Bush.
We are currently involved in a letter-writing campaign - Project Daffodil-Letters. Some of us have been involved in the Klamath Falls Petition, and the People First petition to defund the Endangered Species Act. For more information about these projects and future projects, please visit the link above (Click on the picture above.)

CC Some how, a list of names is given to someone and a list is created. I don't know who or how to start it though. This is the first time a ever saw all those lists. So, it can be done, but I don't know where to start. SLJP I'm starting a search for some photos.

Thank you, pubmom! She was a little sweetheart. I don't know what caused me to watch her; she was just so -- bubbly and full of life. Adorable!! Especially during the Christmas season! Then she went and did that! It was -- oh gosh, I can't even decribe it. The whole store was fixated on her. I imagine she'll be cropping up in the news here as soon as she's able to make her voice heard! Just a feeling! ;-}
I got stuck while doing a Google search. Browser stalled, then Windows stalled. . . . I need a new 'puter!! Supposed to get one for Christmas. We got a new PC about six months ago; time for a new lapper!
Did anyone else just watch Prez Bush and Laura come home from Camp David? They had their dogs, and I think I saw a Basset Hound?! They definitely had their cutie Springer spaniel with them.

Former President Bill Clinton speaks at the Congressional Black Caucus 2001 Annual Legislative Conference in Washington Saturday, Sept. 29, 2001. Clinton received the Congressional Black Caucus Chair's Award. (AP Photo/Hillery Smith Garrison)
To: all
Former President Clinton urged loyal black supporters Saturday to support President Bush's efforts in the aftermath of the nation's deadly terrorist attacks. ``We're all better when we work together,'' he said. The 15-minute address came after Clinton received the Congressional Black Caucus Chair's Award for his efforts for minorities during his eight years as president.
In an effusive introduction, Rep. Eddie Bernice Johnson of Texas, the chair of the 38-member, all-Democratic caucus, said of Clinton, ``He took on so many initiatives he made us think for a while we had elected the first black president.'' Later, she said as Clinton took the podium, ``I present to you THE president of our time ....''
Clinton has spoken to the black caucus every year since his 1992 election. Bush, who has not enjoyed widespread support from blacks, was not invited.
But Clinton, who has long enjoyed the support of the minority community, used his remarks to promote national unity. ``We have come a long way from the time when people in our country thought it was all right to kill the innocent,'' the former president said to wide applause. ``Surely we can all stand hand in hand together and say it is not right for anyone ever to kill the innocent[apart from unborn children, eh, Bubba?] and we as Americans, black, white, brown, from every country, from every place, we will stand together.'' .....

Great song, Clancy!
Depend on old Waylon to tell it like it is!
Many times in the bayous of South Louisiana I've watched the bald eagles hunt for food.
When they're flying, everything else is hiding.
Kind of reminds me of the situation in Afghanistan.

``We have come a long way from the time when people in our country thought it was all right to kill the innocent,'' Excuse me, but he better be talking about Rwanda and Afghanistan and NOT THE UNITED STATES, because we do NOT THINK IT'S RIGHT TO KILL INNOCENTS!!!!!
I should slap a blood pressure cuff on myself and take the new reading for the highest blood pressure in the world!!!! Arrrrghhhhh!

This is so sickening I can't think of anything good that Clinton has done for Blacks or America . Maybe I've been blinded by my dislike of him so much that I can't see all of his good. I guess I've become a double minority. Black and thankful to God that he's restored my faith in President Bush.
Wimom thanks for those pics of Hillary. That's the first thing I thought of last night when I saw that picture. How could she be so attentive to her partner in crime and seemed to not care one bit about Bush's speech.
"and a little child shall lead them", we can get so caught up in ourselves that we forget that others are needing us to care. Thanks for that reminder SLJP.
And Snow Bunny just a little thank you for caring this morning.
