I'm going to get flamed for saying this, but I don't like the glock trigger safety setup. ANYTHING that pushes on the trigger will fire it, branch, key, pen, holster, etc.. Beretta 92FS is good. I like something more powerful than a 9mm, so I got a H&K USP Compact .357 SIG. The .357 SIG round is kinda, a 9mm bullet in a .40 case.
Head for the range and rent as many pistols as you can, and try them out to see what you like.

The one that caught my eye was the 92D

I like something more powerful than a 9mm,

I also considered a .45 but wasn't looking for another career, and I thought I would be able to become more proficent faster with 9mm.

Wish it was that easy, but I live here in occupied New Jersey and that does not seem possible. Thanks

Yikes, I was thinking of a Glock for ccw, but not if the trigger will fire that easy! Help, now what do I get?

IF it happened to push so that the trigger safety was depressed, maybe ... more likely I suspect you're just one of the anti-Glock people with the usual spiel.

Glock 19 plus Fobus holster = Perfection.
