He argued with me today that anyone who would feel uneasy getting on a plane with a group of Arab men IS A RACIST.

Today on the news they were interviewing people getting off of planes that were of middle eastern descent and asking them if they had been harrassed or made to feel uncomfortable. None of them had experienced anything very unpleasant and one of them said, he had found himself looking very suspiciously at other middle easterners. It isn't "profiling", it is common sense.

I know Arab Americans too and they aren't being harassed at all and they all want the foreigners very closely checked themselves. Everyone always thinks Americans of Syrian or Lebanese descent are Greek or Italian anyway, people don't think of them as Arabs. As far as race, Arabs aren't black or oriental anyway, and I think it's okay to profile whites.

Also it's more a gender and age group profiling and of course heavy Middle-Eastern accent profiling. They're doing the same thing in Mexico I hear and also all along the border, people who are darker skinned are on the look-out for Middle East foreigners. I'm sure blacks are too.

EXCELLENT. Libs love anecdotes. This is a very good one for our side. Didn't Jesse the Babymaker also say he felt uneasy walking down a dark street with a gang of black youths following him??
