A North Avenue Elementary School sixth-grade teacher who allegedly burned a portion of the American flag in his classroom apologized for the attention that what he termed his "revolutionary" teaching method had brought onto the district, but the principal said Thursday the teacher does not belong back in a classroom.

Add the unabashed unpatriotism of this jerk to the fire hazard he created and you have a cause for termination.
Kudos to this principal, who stated, "North Avenue's interim principal, Steve Skiffington, said he does not believe Clift belongs back in a classroom.!
Whatever Clift's intent was with his lesson, he was wrong to tell his students to keep it secret, even from their parents, said Skiffington, who said some of Clift's students are still angry with him for removing their teacher.
"Immense harm was done to the children," Skiffington said. "They put trust in a man they shouldn't have."
God Bless Mr Skiffington for this stand. Anyone who votes for putting this clymer back into a classroom should be sued by the parents of those students for aiding and abetting a person dangerous to children!
Then Clift should have a restraining order to keep him at least 1,000 yards from any school. If he gets within 1,000 yards, the use of deadly force should be allowed to keep this mental poison away from those innocent children!

God bless the brave young black student (a girl) who was appalled and told her father. Her father then made sure that this terrible action was not buried in Sacramento's school system designed to protect clymers like Clift.
Clift is also a wanna be cop killer at least two times with his auto in Sacramento and has had a serious problem with law enforcement at least once in Sacramento! Besides being an insane person posing as a teacher, he is a dangerous person who should never be within 1,000 yards of any school with children!
Using the word "alleged" doesn't get the media off the hook as far as libel laws go. They might as well not even use it.
This terminology is closely associated with the Nation of Islam and militant black Afrocentrism - the kind of fringe group which would provide aid and comfort to jihadists.

When you read what was documented about this clymer, you have to say, why was this pyscho even near a student. You need to get someone in Sac to check out with the Oakland/Berkley police re this clymer!

Fox had a photo of this guy on this morning (about 5:30 a.m. PDT) and he was a rag head with a long beard.
Doesn't sound like teacher of the year material to me. His "revolutionary" teaching method relates to 1 a & b of the definition rather than 1 c.

It is quite obvious that Mr. Clift’s education is a few lessons short of a full degree, and the better question is weather Mr. Clift is truly able to teach.
A young black female student was appalled at what he did in the class she attended. She went to her black father, who was outraged and went to the school to complain. Then he went to the Bee and the article they ran was typical of that reprehensible left wing extremist rag. Then apparently he went KCRA. KCRA interviewed his daughter and he backed her up!
I have a few conservative black friends in Sacramento, and one makes black and white liberals in that educational system reach for their Zantac at the mention of his name or when he shows up. This vile clymer will not teach again in Sacramento! Now maybe the cops he tried to run over can file criminal charges and civil charges against him!
Of course, Berkley and San Francisco will probably hire and give him a raise and tenure! UC Berkley might make him a special professor of hate!
