Angelenos aren't likely to go for this sort of mushy socialist embrace-the-world multiculturalism while corpses and rubble from the Twin Towers are being cleared away. But the trendy lefties of our nation are apparently incapable of realizing that the time has come for them to sit down and shut up. Ultimately, that might be to the good.

Frankly...except perhaps in the broadest of terms (we hope for a future according to our individual fantasies), this is untrue. How many of you dream of remembering the layout of electrons in various atoms? How many of you dream of blowing up a car in a place crowded with people who have done you no harm?

People are indeed different, although the most obvious external markers may not be reliable signs of internal goals.
