This was the flight number of one of the planes that hit a tower.
To: OneidaM, ANY FReepers IN THE DC AREA !
sounds like you might know some folks that might know some folks ...
what are the chances of getting word out on some DC radio stations re Saturday's FReep ?
if a bunch of the locals don't join us, i'm concerned that we are going to be seriously outnumbered,
and that the media will make some kind of political hay out of the fact.
( unconscionable assholes that they are ...)

Perhaps M. Thatcher could help get the word out.

1998? 2000 (or at least 1999) should be available...... They are due in May if I remember correctly, though they could've received and extension. Haven't had to complete one in several years, thankfully... :-)
To: Cammysmom
That is an urban legend. There are no flights that begin their identifier with the letter "Q".
If you go to The Urban Legends Reference Pages you can find a link at the top to a summary of all the WTC/Pentagon attack myths that are cropping up (including a few that are true.

They typically ask for two extensions every year and finally deliver the goods by November.
Remember, this is online. There is a web site which takes the microfiche or whatever and puts it in pdf's. I expect a year lag at least.

Are second requests for extensions normally granted? I only asked for one request for an extension, though it was a yearly thing due to the lateness of our independent audit..... And, can't those extensions be revoked and the report due at the IRS within 5 days? Thanks.
To: b4its2late
The IRS didn't seem to have a problem granting them.
Although I know some tax lawyers who have knowledge of 501c3 filing requirements, I am not so endowed.
I can ask, but I don't know that they will know.

Wow! Outstanding work encompassing an enormous amount of thought, study and research.
Very impressive. A "must read" and bookmark.
Thanks for the flag, John.

PITTSBURGH AREA UNIVERSITIES HOLD DEMONSTRATION FOR PEACE at 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 28, University of Pittsburgh Cathedral of Learning
info here.
"It's ordinary people who pay the price of war," said University of Pittsburgh graduate student John Lacny. "Here and in the Middle East."
"The scales of Justice cannot be balanced with the dead," added Carnegie Mellon University sophomore Stuart Anderson. "Violence is the choice of the defeated -- let us have the strength to say we don't need violence to be powerful."

Ramsey Clark is trouble, big trouble.
And he and his groups have essentially been farming in the prison system. They spend a good deal of time, money and effort in their "education" programs in the prison system.
Not to get off on too much of a tangent, but every time we send a person to jail in our war on drugs, we are turning that person into essentially a captive audience for their propaganda.
To: Hugh Akston
You must have ESP, I was just lurking here getting caught up. LOL. I linked your first thread to Word For The Day this morning (with a disgust warning label).
Great work Hugh! The connections between Jesse Jackson & Ramsey Clark are also worthy of discussion, considering the day's events.

If this is so grass roots, how come the contact number for the rally is in DC?
I'm going to go FReep these Commies on Friday.
I'll go solo if I have to, but can anyone think of any good signs for me to bring? Where can I buy a bullhorn?
How about "No Justice! No Peace!"
Oooh, I'm almost getting excited about protesting these bastards.

Ray, sorry I left you off the previous flag.

In noticed that, according to their website, Fidelity Investments Charitable Gift Fund, in addition to funding the anti-American terrorist group led by Ramsey Clark, also gave money to the notable charity PFLAG - Parents and Friends of Lesbians and Gays - the activist organization pushing the radical homosexual agenda in our schools.
