I'm taking this from my wife who saw this . . . I did not . . . so you may want to find the transcript. On the Rosie show today, in the middle of a discussion of "peace and love," Rosie said words to this extent: "I've always vote Democrat and I've said some bad things about Republicans in the past but I'm so proud of OUR president the way he has handled this whole thing. My wife said she almost fell out of her chair. Can anyone confirm, or supply the exact words???

Here's something else to consider: In soliciting donations all last week, she would make the following comment:

"If it were up to me, the more money you have, the more you should be REQUIRED to give."

Now, this is your typical take from the rich, liberal mindset coming out again. Frankly, as stewards of our finances, yes, we should give as much as we can. But to be REQUIRED to give more is, again typical liberal thinking. I think that this catastrophe showed that, when left to the goodness of their hearts, the American people will ALWAYS rise to the occaision and dig deeper to give. It's only when we are FORCED to give, that we tend to do so reluctantly. She should just can that attitude and be grateful for what was collected.
