I was supposed to retire this Friday from the Air Force..Guess what? All retirements are on hold by order of the President. I'm not complaining but this only happens when a big can of Whoop Asss is about to happen !

In the long run you'll be very glad that you didn't retire just before 11 September. One of my first thoughts on hearing the news was, "I wish I was still in the navy, so I could be doing something constructive."

At least I can still get back into the reserves. Paperwork should be complete by the end fo the week :)

Yes, and since this President believes in acting instead of setting up photo-ops, perhaps we'll learn of the action at the appropriate time -- after it's done and not before of during.
