Jesus said 'take no thought for the morrow' and yet you tell him to prepare. Your advice is not Biblical. (except the portion where you suggest READING the scripture, but even then you forget to say: ...and APPLY them)

Being a Christian is not a passive thing. If you think that you can have both free will and not take an active part in your survival then I think it is you that is not being biblical. Do you think Jesus is going to raise the spoon to your mouth if you pray hard enough? Being prepared is part of Christianity, otherwise you are dependent on someone else.
