In order to love our country, our country must first be lovely. Sometimes it is not.
I think you've lost perspective.

Obviously you're one who has an inablity to separate 'the ideal' from 'reality'.

Anyone like yourself who wants heaven on earth is going to be sorely disapointed.

The most we can offer you on this earth and in this country is an unprecedented and never before tried approach in the history of homo sapiens -

- the rule of law versus the simple edict by a king whose whims could change on a daily or hourly basis.

These laws by which we live are penned by set of representatives elected by the people - and your 'rights' are protected against any one-man's vindictiveness for a crime you might commit as you are tried by jury of your peers.

If *you* can cite a more perfect system for the governship over man - we're all ears, dear ...

When there is one law for the people and another for the government and its murderous and corrupt praetorian guards, we cannot love our system. When the judges side with the government and the government presents false evidence, we cannot love our system.

If *you* can cite a more perfect system for the governship over man - we're all ears, dear ...

Some other time, perhaps.
