David Schippers is a former US prosecutor and highly respected attorney well known to DOJ attorneys in Washington DC. Schippers served as the legal counsel to the House Managers for the impeachment proceedings and trial of President Clinton in the US Senate. He authored the book “Sellout” which documents events surrounding the impeachment proceedings and Senate trial.
In his book, Schippers also describes that nothing was done by the INS (because of pressure from the Clinton Administration) to check for criminal records and get fingerprints for over 100,000 illegal immigrants that were improperly naturalized and given the right to vote in the Presidential elections. Schippers wrote that a later check showed that at least 20% of these illegals did have criminal records but the US government deliberately destroyed all records on the individuals in June 2000. He is concerned that some of these illegals are part of a terrorist network in the US.
Schippers told WRRK radio in Pittsburgh on September 13, 2001 that Federal authorities had received credible forewarnings about Middle Eastern terror attacks on Oklahoma City (OKC) Federal buildings and on buildings in lower Manhattan including the World Trade Centers (WTC). The remarks by Schippers can be heard at the tape archives available on the internet at www.warroom.com/archives for the day September 13, 2001 (about 80% into the tape). I listened to the tape and I spoke to someone very close to Schippers about his remarks to confirm their details and accuracy.
In the case of the WTC attacks, Schippers said he had personally called around to Washington DC officials a month before September 11, 2001 and told them to expect a “massive attack on lower Manhattan “ (where the WTC towers were located) based on the information he had received. Shippers says he was ignored. And Schippers says his friend, an FBI agent that he calls the top terrorism expert in the world, had still not been consulted by the FBI about the WTC attack as of September 13, 2001.
In the case of the OKC bombing, Schippers said he has very credible evidence of prior warning of a Middle Eastern assisted attack on the Murrah building in OKC on April 19, 1995. Schippers also said his evidence includes evidence of the Middle Eastern men and Bin Laden terror network involved. Schippers stated that the “FBI covered up that the OKC bombing was a Bin Laden operation.” Schippers says he personally tried to give the evidence of the Bin Laden suspects and network involvement and the prior warning to Attorney General Ashcroft several months ago, but was rejected by Ahscroft’s deputies.
Schippers further stated that a cab driver and a baggage handler at Boston’s Logan airport were involved in the OKC bombing and part of the Bin Laden operation. Schippers also said that since Bin Laden was involved in the WTC attacks originating out of Logan airport, the FBI should look at whether or not the cab driver and baggage handler involved in OKC were part of a Bin Laden (Al-Qaeda) network that helped the hijacker pilots evade security.
But Schippers complained that while the “bureaucrats at the FBI” were known for being good investigators, the same FBI bureaucrats were also “incompetent” when it came to intelligence matters and were not capable of adequately heading off the OKC bombing and WTC attacks based on intelligence they had received in advance. Schippers pointed out that in his opinion, “the US is completely infiltrated by Middle Eastern terrorists associated with [networks] Hamas, Hezbollah and their fellow travelers” (Al-Qaeda –Bin Laden, Islamic and Egyptian Jihad, etc). Accordingly Schippers recommended a cabinet level intelligence czar reporting to the President to handle intelligence matters pertaining to these terror networks inside the US rather than continuing to rely on FBI bureaucrats.
Other evidence emerging from the investigations of the WTC attacks and the terror networks in the US support Schipper’s allegations of FBI forewarning and incompetence in handling intelligence matters and in protecting the public from these terror networks.
A 9/18/2001 article by the Boston Globe “Flight School Says FBI Trailed Suspect Prior To Hijackings “ carried a report that two years ago the FBI visited the Airman flight school in Norman, Oklahoma (very close to OKC) to check on a pilot who had trained previously at the school. The pilot is now known to have been involved in the WTC attacks. But what is noteworthy is that at the time, TWO YEARS AGO, the FBI told the flight school Vice President, Mr. Davis, that the pilot was connected to Bin Laden and was involved in a terror plot involving the use of airplanes.
It also has been reported by the BBC in an article “FBI ‘Ignored Leads’ ” on 9/14/2001 that a pilot trained at the same flight school in Norman, was arrested in Minnesota over a month ago on suspicion of involvement of a terror plot. French intelligence told the FBI at that time the suspect pilot, Zacarias Moussaoui, was a high level Bin Laden lieutenant involved in a terror plot with airplanes. The French are criticizing the FBI for not following up on the French information about the pilot since hundreds of Europeans were killed in the WTC attacks and the French feel proper follow up by the FBI may have averted the attacks.
Another pilot who flew a hijacked plane into the WTC was Mohammed Atta who also visited the same Norman flight school. Atta met with an Iraqi intelligence agent in Europe a month before the attack according to cnn.com in an article “FBI Tracked Man In Custody 2 Weeks Before Attacks” dated 9/18/2001. He also traveled with another hijacker pilot to Las Vegas more than a year before the attack and it is strongly suspected they met Iraqi intelligence and recruitment people while in Vegas.
A fourth pilot Ihab Ali Nawawi also attended the same Norman flight school but he luckily is in prison in New York for refusing to testify before a Federal Grand Jury investigating the attacks on the US embassies in Tanzania and Kenya. Nawawi worked for Bin Laden in Africa and he lived and worked closely with Bin Laden’s secretary El-Hage as part of an Al-Qaeda cell in Arlington, Texas before moving to Florida. While in Florida he worked as a cab driver and now is suspected of assisting the cells in Florida who supported the other Bin Laden pilots who trained at schools in Florida and flew planes into the WTC and Pentagon. The information about Nawai comes from an AP story “Local Mosque Probed for Bin Laden Link” on 9/19/2001.
In a Boston Globe article “ Officials Aware in 1998 of Training” dated 9/15/2001, it has been disclosed that the link between Bin Laden’s AlQaeda cell members and US flight schools was KNOWN to US prosecutors and the FBI for SEVERAL YEARS and was disclosed in detailed testimony during this year’s trial of the 1998 bombing of the Kenyan and Tanzanian embassies. Two of Bin Laden associates who trained as pilots in the US for possible suicide missions were identified in the testimony. In fact one of them who trained at a Texas flight school, Essam al Ridi actually testified for the prosecution. The other pilot identified was Ihab Nawawi who went to the Norman flight school.
Two other pilots identified by the Arizona Republic in the article “Another Suspect At Flight School” on 9/18/2001 were supported by Al-Qaeda cells in Phoenix while they trained at flight schools near Phoenix over the past few years, one at CRM flight school and the other at Sawyer flight school. One of the pilots was Hani Hanjoor who flew a hijacked airline into one of the WTC towers.
A cab driver at Boston’s Logan airport, Nabil Al-Marabh was finally arrested in Chicago on 9/17/2001 after it was disclosed Marabh helped as part of an Al-Qaeda cell network, three hijack pilot suspects in Detroit Michigan who were arrested 9/16/2001 for being part of the WTC plot. The FBI knew about Marabh’s activites in Boston and the Boston Globe reported on 9/19/2001 in the article “Ex-Boston Cabdriver May Be Tied To Attackers” that at one time Marabh was helping the FBI track the activities of Bin Laden’s cell members in the Boston area before he fled last year. Did Marabh double cross the FBI? In any event the FBI knew from the FBI monitoring of Marabh’s activites at Boston for over a year that Al-Qaeda had men in place at Boston’s airport without deporting or arresting them.
Recall that in Schippers’ remarks he complained about a cab driver and a baggage handler that the FBI knew about who may have been Al-Qaeda cell members and who may have helped the hijacker pilots evade security at Logan Airport. Schippers pointed out that these same men were involved in the OKC bombing. The baggage handler Schippers spoke of is Al Hussain Hussaini and reportedly was identified by a local OKC TV station as being an associate of McVeigh and for being at the scene of the OKC bombing. Hussaini served in Sadam Hussein’s Iraqi Republican Guard before being brought to OKC by President Clinton along with at least 23 other Iraqis after the Gulf War.
After the OKC bombing, before going to Boston, Hussaini first fled to Houston, Texas by way of Dallas, Texas and was allegedly helped for a time by the Iraqi Heider Barbouti, son of Ishan Barbouti. Ishan Barbouti obtained biological and chemical weapons in the US for Sadam Hussein prior to the Gulf War. And Heider Barbouti bought the luggage that carried the bomb on the airline that was blown up over Lockerbie, Scotland. OKC attorney, Mike Johnston has a copy of the receipts that show Heider Barbouti’s luggage purchase.
It has been widely reported by CBSNews that Sadam Hussein helped Bin Laden’s AlQaeda cells and suicide pilots do the WTC and Pentagon attacks. Recall as mentioned earlier, that one of the hijacker pilots, Mohammed Atta, met with Iraqi intelligence in Europe a month ago. Further, Bill Gertz of the Washington Times reported on 9/21/2001 in the article “Iraq Suspected of Sponsoring Terrorist Attacks” that Bin Laden was in direct contact with Iraqi government agents from his base in Afghanistan in the days before the WTC attacks, according to US intelligence officials.
But not only is there a direct link to the WTC and Pentagon attacks between Bin Laden and Sadam Hussein, but there is was also a direct link between Hussein and Bin Laden before in helping pull off the OKC bombing using the same cells and networks that were used to help the WTC suicide pilots.
There is reliable, credible evidence from Saudi intelligence and the former CIA counter terrorism chief Vincent Cannistraro that Sadam Hussein paid seven Pakistanis to assist McVeigh in the OKC bombing.
One of the men arrested in OKC the day of the OKC bombing, Asad Sidiqqy, was a Pakistani (possibly paid by Hussein?) and was also a suspect in the first WTC bombing in the early 1990s. Siddiqy was seen by Debbie Burdick driving a blue cavalier seen near the Murrah building with McVeigh along with two other Pakistanis (who were also arrested in Dallas) moments before the Murrah building was bombed. The three men were arrested and then released even though dogs found evidence of explosives had been in their baggage.
After denials of their arrests by Janet Reno and FBI Deputy Director Weldon Kennedy, the FBI 302 reports proving the arrests finally surfaced in May 2001 in the Dallas FBI office of FBI’s OKC Bomb task Force Director, Danny Defenbaugh, the FBI current SAC in Dallas. According to OKC police officer, Don Browning, FBI agent Floyd Zimms deliberately gave out false information (which Zimms admitted to) to police officers about the suspects that helped lead to their premature release and escape.
Recall that one of the hijacker pilots, Mohammed Atta, met with Iraqi intelligence in Europe a month ago and likely in Las Vegas over a year ago. McVeigh and Nichols met with a member of Iraqi intelligence in Las Vegas before the OKC bombing at the same motel and at the same time as the employer of the Iraqi’s (Hussaini) who was alleged to have helped McVeigh.
The Iraqi’s employer, Samir Khalil, is a man suspected to have ties to a large, long existing militant Hamas cell in OKC. Kahlil employed another man suspected in the OKC bombing, Abraham Ahmad, who fled to Europe and who was carrying bombing making equipment and blue jogging suits worn by suspects at the scene of the OKC bombing. He was released by the FBI.
Congressman Dave McCurdy wrote an article for the Oklahoma Gazette in 1995 in which McCurdy stated his belief that Middle Eastern men were involved in the OKC bombing. McCurdy had been Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee. McCurdy stated that he believed a local Hamas terrorist cell could have participated in the bombing based on information provided to him by the FBI. This information included video tapes of Hamas terrorist training exercises and intelligence showing that the local Hamas cell had trained demolition experts.
Janice Roberts, staff director for the Senate Judiciary Subcommittee on Terrorism, told me there has been a well established Hamas terrorist cell in OKC for more than ten years. Governor Frank Keating’s brother, Martin Keating, told me on KTOK radio that Hamas had a well established and large terrorist cell in OKC. Martin Keating’s book, “the Final Jihad”, contains a story line of a Middle Eastern attack on a Federal building in Oklahoma and his book was written before the OKC bombing.
Nichols also met with members of Bin Laden’s Abu Sayeff terror cell in the Philippines before the OKC bombing at the same time and near the same place when RamziYusef was in the Philippines. Yusef is a Pakistani terrorist mastermind convicted for the first WTC bombing and considered a genius for knowing how to hijack and blow up airlines for Abu Sayeff, Bin Laden and Sadam Hussein. Yosef’s role in helping terrorists is described in a World Tribune.com article on 9/15/2001, Ramzi Yusef, Architect of the First World Trade Center Bombing, Carried Plans For Airliner Suicide Crash.”
The day of the WTC attacks, three Bin Laden suicide pilots were arrested in Manilla, Philippines just before they boarded an airline on a suicide mission destined for the US. This story was reported in the Philippine Star News on 9/14/2001 in an article “Hijackers Planned to Seize PAL Planes for Tuesday US-Attack. Documents disclosed the suicide pilots were part of the same Bin Laden Abu Sayeff cells connected to Ramzi Yuseff and Nichols and the OKC bombing and were also connected to the same suicide plot against the WTC towers.
Hamas and Abu Sayeff are now also aligned with AlQaeda, Hezbolah, and Islamic Jihad and Abu Nidal terrorist groups cells in America.and met together in Tehran, Iran with representatives from Iraq and Sadam Hussein in April 2001 to further consolidate their operations. The Abu Nidal group is very close to Sadam Hussein.
McVeigh met with several Middle Eastern men and Andreas Strassmeyer (FBI and CIA informant and German national tied to the IRA and other Middle Eastern and German terror groups) at a strip joint in Tulsa, Oklahoma a few days before the OKC bombing. The strip joint is believed also to have been visited by the Iraqi’s (Hussaini) employer and suspected Hamas cell member, Samir Kahlil.
Khalil has also been associated in Tulsa with Mujeeb Cheema, a Pakistani and organizer of a radical campus student group. There are several high level officials in the Pakistani Intelligence services close to Bin Laden and Sadam Hussein who have the same last name Cheema. It is not known if they are related but Pakistanis are believed to have been hired by Sadam Hussein to help McVeigh. Cheema was employed in Tulsa by a company owned in part by Terry Lenzner, a close friend and investigator for Bill and Hillary Clinton.
Cheema is a strong backer and promoter of a Tulsa mosque that could have aided two pilots who lived in Tulsa and were involved in the suicide attacks on the WTC. The Tulsa World reported on 9/18/2001 in the article “Possible Spartan Link Investigated” that one of the pilots in the WTC attack trained at the Spartan Flight school in Tulsa and another pilot used a Tulsa address as his residence on hi pilot’s license.
During the course of the OKC bombing investigation, it was learned that seven Middle Eastern men associated with a Bin Laden cell network in Arlington, Texas assisted McVeigh in building the truck bomb in OKC on April 18, 1995, the day before the Murrah building was destroyed. This information was reported in full to the FBI in OKC in March 1999 and to the House Task Force on Terrorism and Unconventional Warfare since late 1996. Schippers made an attempt to convey this information along with proof of official US government prior warning to Ashcroft several months ago and was rebuffed.
A number of the members of the Arlington cell of Bin Laden who have been arrested since the WTC attacks are men whose activities for Bin Laden have been known to the FBI for years. The inspector of the FBI OKC Bomb Task Force, Danny Defenbaugh, has been using Dallas police officers for the FBI since 1998 to track and follow known Bin Laden cell members in Arlington and around the world without arresting or deporting them.
Note as mentioned earlier, one of the Arlington members who was arrested, Essam Ridi, testified at the Kenyan embassy trial this year about the Bin Laden suicide pilots. Two other members of the Al-Qaeda cell in Arlington, Texas have finally just been questioned after having have been known to the FBI for a long time. One was Moatz Hallack and the other is Mohamed Abdo. They both attended the same mosque in Arlington with Bin Laden’s secretary, El Hage who they knew and who was convicted of the first WTC bombing and the Kenyan embassy bombing.
Hallak was questioned in Laurel, Maryland at a time when other hijacker pilot suspects were arrested. After being given immunity (a mistake?) Hallack testified at the Kenyan embassy bombing trial referred to earlier where the suicide missions of Bin Laden pilots were revealed. Abdo was arrested in connection with the WTC attacks and was a computer analyst of a subsidiary of American Airlines, one of two carriers whose jets that were flown into the WTC towers.
As described earlier, Bin Laden’s secretary, el Hage, lived in Dallas and was indicted for the WTC and Kenyan and Tanzanian bombings. Also indicted was the Egyptian, Ali Mohammed, who knew el Hage and was close to Bin Laden (helped him move from Sudan). Mohammed was also indicted for setting up many Bin Laden cells inside the United States and training Bin Laden terrorists within the US, all while Ali Mohammed was a highly placed informant working for the FBI out of Sacramento from 1992 to 1998. Before that time he worked as a trainer for US Special Forces and briefly for the CIA. He also helped relocate Bin Laden and his operations to Afghanistan from Sudan.
Another Egyptian who served in the US military like Ali Mohammed was US Army sergeant. Mamdouh Salim. Salim was convicted with terrorism conspiracy in aiding Bin Laden at the same New York trials with Ali Mohammed and el Hage.
It is suspected that Mohammed helped el Hage and Bin Laden set up the Bin Laden cell in Dallas that provided support for McVeigh and for the AlQaeda suicide pilots. And in December of 1999, Andrea Michel (wife of Alan Greenspan) reported that the Egyptian airlines was crashed into the ocean in a suicide mission by an Egyptian pilot because Bin Laden wanted to put pressure on the USG for its treatment of Ali Mohammed and el Hage. It should be noted that one or more of the pilots involved in the recent WTC attacks were Egyptian and that Ali Mohammed is Egyptian. A special plea bargain was done with Ali Mohammed in 2000 with Janet Reno after the Egyptian airliner crash.
The former Pentagon terror advisor Jesse Clear told me and legal counsels for the Senate Intelligence and Judiciary Committees that he believed Middle Eastern and domestic terrorists worked together to do the OKC bombing, a cooperation arrangement that has been repeated around the world in other terrorist attacks. Clear was ridiculed and not taken seriously by many of his government peers in counter intelligence and counter terrorism.
Unfortunately, Clear and the FBI strongly defended a failed FBI and CIA policy of allowing terrorist cells to operate without apprehension in the US so US intelligence could follow and track terrorists working out of these cells for years. Clear even gave me a taped recording of a conversation he had about the subject with FBI agent, Paul Geiger, from the FBI counterintelligence unit at Buzzards Point #3 near DC.
I have complained of this bad and failed policy to Federal officials for over four years and this was even discussed by Clear with Geiger. This failed policy was exactly the case with Ali Mohammed who set up even more cells and trained more terrorists how to set up more cells while he was allowed to roam as an FBI informant and as a follower and trainer for Bin Laden.
Bin Laden cells in Phoenix and Boston were instrumental in carrying out the WTC and Pentagon attacks. It has been known to OKC bombing investigators and the FBI and DOJ for over three years that the members of the cells in these cities as well as Arlington, Texas and the Hamas cell in OKC were also involved in helping McVeigh do the OKC bombing. The Al-Qaeda suicide pilots who trained at the Norman flight schools likely were helped by the large, long established and well known Hamas cell in OKC. So it is believed that members of the same cells in the same cities that helped the suicide pilots also helped Middle Eastern men help McVeigh and Nichols do the OKC bombing.
And another example of FBI failed policy of tracking known terrorists in the US was followed and defended by FBI Director Louis Freeh in May 1995 before Congress. Freeh bragged that the FBI had help populate three Abu Nidal terrorists cells in the US with known middle eastern terrorists who were allowed to roam to long train others and set up more cells like Ali Mohammed without apprehension.
Freeh said the three Abu Nidal cells were in Dallas, Los Angeles and near Washington DC. Abu Nidal is a brutal, blood thirsty terrorist who is close to Sadam Hussain and who may have helped in the recent WTC attacks. In 1999 and in 2000 CBN News and terrorism expert Steve Emerson reported Abu Nidal meeting with Sadam Hussein in Iraq.
Even Jane Thomas, a USG employee associated with the OKC bombing museum and terror training center, tried in early 2000 to defend to me the failed FBI policy of not moving against known Middle Eastern terrorists in order to protect FBI operations, informants and to track the terrorists. Thomas quoted FBI agents who had explained this to her at FBI training seminars she had attended. Her description closely paralleled the known FBI techniques used with the Klu Klux Klan and mob figures which are not successful for terrorists since the FBI loses track of them while they continue to set up cells and train more terrorists in the US like the Egyptian Ali Mohamed did.
And the FBI has known about these cells, about many of their members and about their activities for years without making arrests or deporting the members and disrupting the cells. If the FBI had acted earlier against these cells and their members, the WTC and Pentagon attacks would have been less likely. The FBI still is not acting against the large Hamas cell in OKC or the three Abu Nidal cells in Dallas, Los Angeles and near Washington DC.
This continued lack of FBI and DOJ action against these cells is putting the public at risk from future attacks against Americans by those terrorists that may be helped by members of these cells. Ali Mohamed has recently told US authorities that Bin Laden has many ”sleeper terrorists” in US cells he helped set up that can be activated after years to launch new attacks within the US. If not stopped in time, these cells could eventually help terrorists set off weapons of mass destruction in the US, weapons Bin Laden and Al-Qaeda are known to have, such as biological, chemical and nuclear weapons.
A number of domestic John Does who helped McVeigh have been identified on the FreeRepublic and to Congress and to the DOJ recently. Yet the FBI, the AG and IG of the DOJ and legal counsels of several Congressional Committees have refused to apprehend or question these witnesses. This failure deprives the US government of potential valuable information that these domestic John Does could provide that would help find and stop any Middle Eastern terrorists and cells who may have helped McVeigh and Nichols and who might help in future attacks on Americans.
Why in the world would anybody in the intelligence community listen to him?
And what are his sources?
Shippers had access to members of the intelligence community and Congressmen and Senators who sit on the Intelligence Committees of Congress.
He also had access to many classified documents during the impeachment proceedings and Senate trials. These documents pertained to matters of national security and were much more significant than just Clinton sex escapades.
Schippers writes about this in his book "Sellout" and complains that the Senators did not want much of this classified info brought out against Clinton in charges since they feared it would be harmful to the stability of the country and to the careers of some Republicans and Democrats.

I spent most of my effort gathering and writing about the information. Sorry since it could have been done even better with the links you suggested. I did what I could with what I have and at least identified the articles and dates.
Much of even the FBI's best info is second hand in the sense that it did not come directly from terrorists. And some of the info that comes to the FBI from informants can be flawed especially if it comes from people who double crossed them which has happened before.
But most of Schippers info is first hand in the sense that it came from people who are directly involved in investigations. Schippers' info is as direct as is possible.
I feel that WTC was the third, if not 4th, terrorist attack on the civilized world, including at least two of the following:
- OKC bombing, based on your evidence and other information brought up in this forum.
- TWA 800. All those who saw a missile were deluding themselves, right?
- The Egyptian pilot who crashed a plane (forget flight # and airline). This one may have been a guy who just flipped, but we'll probably never know. The Egyptian government sure doesn't want us to know.
I also feel that ARIFPOTUS (Accused Rapist and Impeach Former President of the United States) was SO intent on making sure that nothing interrupted his eight-year party that he was willing to orchestrate cover-ups of at least the first two, knowing that a pliant mainstream press would back him up.
It's really too bad the Internet didn't have a high percentage of penetration (excuse the pun) into American homes back in 1995 and 1997. I believe OKC and TWA 800 would have turned out very differently.
The tinfoil says that it got zapped in a US naval artillery accident...
