To: Alas Babylon! MeeknMing, enough is ENOUGH, ALOHA RON,NIE, B4Ranch,JudyB1938,
I am sick and tired of these liberals in any walk of life. The media, the teaching profession anywhere they are.

They have NO clue what a patriot is, nor what our military sacrifices to give us our Freedom and to keep our country safe from harm.

We are not only fighting the enemy outside of America but also the enemy within .

The apathy that has infested America over the years is the main reason why the liberals and their agenda have gotten a strong hold.

YESSS , yes sure do need to keep writing letters , making phone calls , flying the Flag , speaking out and taking names, let them know we are here and their days are numbered. That we are fed up with their destroying America and ouro freedoms.

They are propaganda machines every one of them..... media, teachers telling children to take the flag off their notebooks that it will offend someone. GRRRRRRRRrrrrr !!!!!!

Thank God for the parents that teach their children why they are free, who gave them their freedom and why the fight will never end to keep us Free and to have our Bill of Rights and be able to fly the Flag.

Sorry I went off here, but I have a real ' thang' about the liberals and their agenda. The anit-war idiots that did NOT give us our freedom. The draft dodgers and flag burners.

Did you or anyone else see that disgusting, sickening leftist on O'Reilly yesterday? I think he was an editor of Harpers. His tone of voice and facial expressions were satanic-like. He was one arrogant S.O.B. I never knew this guy existed until I saw him on TV. Like I said, they are coming out of the woodwork. Take names and add them to our list of "The enemy within."

Under the Constitution, war powers are divided. Congress has the power to declare war and raise and support the armed forces (Article I, Section 8), while the President is Commander in Chief (Article II, Section 2). It is generally agreed that the Commander in Chief role gives the President power to repel attacks against the United States and makes him responsible for leading the armed forces. During the Korean and Vietnam wars, the United States found itself involved for many years in undeclared wars. Many Members of Congress became concerned with the erosion of congressional authority to decide when the United States should become involved in a war or the use of armed forces that might lead to war. On November 7, 1973, Congress passed the War Powers Resolution (P.L. 93-148) over the veto of President Nixon.

The War Powers Resolution states that the President's powers as Commander-in-Chief to introduce U.S. forces into hostilities or imminent hostilities are exercised only pursuant to (1) a declaration of war; (2) specific statutory authorization; or (3) a national emergency created by an attack on the United States or its forces. It requires the President in every possible instance to consult with Congress before introducing American armed forces into hostilities or imminent hostilities unless there has been a declaration of war or other specific congressional authorization. It also requires the President to report to Congress any introduction of forces into hostilities or imminent hostilities, Section 4(a)(1); into foreign territory while equipped for combat, Section 4(a)(2); or in numbers which substantially enlarge U.S. forces equipped for combat already in a foreign nation, Section 4(a)(3). Once a report is submitted "or required to be submitted" under Section 4(a)(1), Congress must authorize the use of forces within 60 to 90 days or the forces must be withdrawn. (For additional information, see CRS Report 96-476, The War Powers Resolution: Twenty-Two Years of Experience.) Continue reading this site

Then depending on how strong you are today, you might want to continue here. This explains why we are not calling our armed conflicts "wars". (hint........it has been suspended.)

Here, Hear! True words, Snow Bunny!

We have become a nation that turns our children over and into the hands of the leftist enemy starting at the age of 6 (and many are sent before that , thanks to programs such as "Head Start"---"Head start to what?" they should ask!) Taking our country back or even keeping it from slipping even farther into the mire of socialism must begin in our homes, it is for certain that those in power aren't out to do this!

I truly believe that every homeschooling parent is indeed a soldier in a fight for our country's stability and improvement. I am so proud to see the ranks of the homeshooling families grow each and every year. It may be slow going but the reward of the fruits of these labors will be a steady influx of adults in the future who have NOT been programmed by the left!
