Actually, the money is probably being siphoned off to support the Demorats in the 2002 election. No accounting. They care and that's enough.

Possibly my post was misleading. She did not stipulate it was not for Pentagon, but she did stipulate it was for NY victims only because NY is her home, blah, blah, blah.

It would be interesting to know who the people are who designed the set and dictated the costumes, and their reasoning behind it.
Seems to me that the people of the general public (not the victims's survivors, of course) are wanting to participate in action, not grieving. Grieving was done at the National Cathedral. Now it is time to pull together and get to work.

And the good news is that their audience is out partying and not paying any attention on a Friday night.

Rosie O donated a million with a stipulation that is for NY victims only (not Pentagon vics)She is truly mentally ill. Her priorities are so out of whack it and it is very disturbing.

Did anyone listen to Rush today? He brought out his ribbon rant. "I care. I wear a ribbon. Yeah, but did you do anything?" He was good today.

re my post 68, please don't think me a heartless and penurious curmudgeon. I just like to know that my gifts will be put to the appropriate use. I'm wary of some charities (esp. United Way) because of their huge administrative costs and whopping executive salaries, as well as some of their collection techniques. I support what the SA does, but they took advantage of my stroke-impaired f-i-l to the tune of $800 this year.

Family of a missing man telling him to come home for his birthday because his wife baked a cake and they are going to have a baby.
This is sad, these poor families. We know there are no survivors, this is gut wrenching.
Niel Young singing John Lennon's IMAGINE. He sounds really good. He has an orchestra behind him. No flags, still looks like Christmas.
A small side note, my brother once trimmed his hedges when he was in High School!!!!

It shows they are in mourning. Black and candles. From the comments here, it seems that way.
