Flutie was great up here! And he's done pretty well down there. I always enjoy the replays of his 1984 Hail Mary that beat the Miami Hooricanes. I've got an obnoxious buddy who loves Miami and therefore I HATE MIAMI!!

I quit smoking three years ago. I trust I'm welcome anyway? I promise I'm not a smoking bigot. Naturally, I wish all smokers would quit. But, if you wanna smoke, more power to ya! And I don't mind cigarette smoke, neither.

Nope, we call it soccer too. The Canadian football game has a longer and wider field, 12 guys at a time instead of 11, only 3 downs not 4, and other differences. The first 2 football games were in 1867 between my alma mater McGill and Harvard in Montreal, final score 0-0. The return game in Boston was won by Harvard 1-0. I don't know how the scoring worked back then, but the game was still pretty close to rugby.
