Before the Toronto at Edmonton Canadian Football League game (just starting), they just had the PA announcer make a nice short speech offering condolences and best wishes to those in the U.S., especially New York and Washington, then showed a video of tired New York firemen working at it and with the video they played a lovely version of "God Bless America". This was followed by a dreadful version of "O Canada" sung by a bunch of young women with all the timing of a sixteen year old boy losing his virginty, and broke the spell. Ho hum.

It was a NewsMax/Condit article, but not THE article! It was another one by LeBoutillier that was titled, "The FBI Needs a Win". A lot of FBI skeptics made sure I heard about it.

Some Canadians felt slighted but not me. That was one FANTASTIC speech! There were a couple of good reasons the President might have left us out. Roe, you remember that article about how our Foreign Secretary (or whatever) John Manley, said we were at war too? Well, Mr. Manley made that announcement pretty much on his own recognizance because our chickenshit Prime Minister Chretien was wringing his hands indecisively about whether we should get involved. Good for you, Mr. Manley! But I'm sure Chretien's cowardice wasn't appreciated. Also, that appallingly offensive display on CBC at their townhall stacked with America-resenters may have been a factor, too. Bottomline, xs, I was a little surprised but not at all put out when I thought about it. YAY, W!!!!

"Watching the O'Reily Factor. Saw it on the ticker on the bottom of the screen. But I concur."

I think Fox is probably ok to quote. Shep Smith made an announcement yesterday, (other may have too but I heard him), that Fox News had pledged not to release any military or other sensitive information unless it was directly released by Bush/Rumsfeld/Powell, etc. He talked about the whole "loose lips sink ships", idea and said that everybody at Fox News, while dedicated to bringing us the best coverage, would never give out information that might jeopardize our troops or the strategy of the Administration. Go Fox!

You're lovely as always, I was there briefly with some cheesy analgrams of Alan Greenspan inspired by a list Roe came up with, e.g. Arse Pan Glenna. (I used to work with a gal named Glenna long ago, it's an unusual name).
