a way to make use of Bush Sr. and his great international prestige without undermining the presidentWell, there is the proverbial "rub" with Clinton, isn't it? Give him an inch and he'll take over the planet.

This guy has forgotten Bush also has Dick Cheneny, Condi Rice, and Powell by his side. Why would he need to hire Bubba? Tony Blair and GW looked just fine last night.

Actually, there's some merit to the idea in general. As for Clintoon specifically, I suppose we could tell him that we need help bringing one of those South Sea islands where nobody wears anything above the waist into the coalition.

It is not hard to imagine Bill Clinton sitting by himself in a hotel room chewing on a pillow while he watched last night's speech. I would bet anything that x42 has had the thought, "Why not on my watch?". He must have gone crazy when he saw the response W. received. Now Alter, one of the BIGGEST CLINTONISTAS in the press corp, comes out and suggests we bring good ole' Billy back. Still on the payroll, huh Johnny?
Bring Bill back? NOT ON YOUR LIFE! For the love of all things great and small, GO AWAY ALREADY!

You know he is almost nuts by now; he was so SURE nobody would EVER be as "popular" as he thought he was. He never came close to the numbers Bush is getting.......har!

BIG TIME BARF!
Jonathan Alter is way off base! Bush has selected the BEST VP possible IMO and he has assembled one of the BEST cabinets in recent history. I say let THEM take us through this crisis. Too many chiefs and not enough Indians will surely get things fouled up.
It was very evident from his speech last night that Bush and Co. have a goal, they have a plan, they've been working successfully with our allies. I say let them THEM continue and Pffffttt! to Jonathan Alter. What a maroooon!

You know he is almost nuts by now; he was so SURE nobody would EVER be as "popular" as he thought he was. Har! That fact was written all over the sour face of his lovely wife last night. Good heavens, I haven't seen so much rolling of the eyes since Gore in the second debate (only Gore had on more rouge).
To: Teacup
Jonathan Alter, long-time Clinton butt kisser, is afraid of the revelations re. x42 and terrorism will expose the whole period as a sellout of our country. Alter's agenda is one of socialism and the destruction of traditional U.S. institutions.

This is a good day, isn't it? Bush gave an excellent speech PLUS Hillary is being raked over the coals for her actions! It doesn't get much better than this.

You know, it's not like any of President Bush's predecessors did such a great job of combating terrorism themselves. Let the President act unencumbered by their advice. Not like any of them will keep it to themselves anyway.
To: Cyber Liberty
And speaking of GORE, where is he? I have seen Schumer, Willery, Hillery, and a host of other 'Now we are together' libs (including McCain) all over tv but not one word about or from the loser. Can you imagine his thoughts? "If only we had cheated a little bit harder in Florida or Tennessee.... I could be sending those missiles into the camel butts."
