He probably wasn't running late at all. He probably arrived late intentionally so that airline personnel would be pressured to rush procedures.

I thought the whole idea behind the boarding in Portland, ME, was to avoid having to go through the security check at Logan. (I know, what security at Logan!)

In another development, the employee confirmed reports that the terrorists on Flight 11 sprayed passengers with mace or pepper spray. She says one of the terrorists seated in the last row of the business class section pulled back the curtain and sprayed the noxious gas in the direction of passengers in coach, apparently to disable them and discourage them from trying to stop the hijacking. How could they (the airline) know this?

That's what Democrats do at the polls to get their not-so-legal voters past the election judges. Remember in St. louis when they left the polls open late? It's just easier to catch people off-guard if there's a rush.

If a passenger doesn't arrive in time to be checked out adequately, it's their fault if they miss the flight. There is no obligation for the airport authorities to see to it that he gets on his intended flight. This was a system failure.
Before one single new hurdle is imposed on the paying public, might I suggest airport policies on hiring and training receive a complete overhaul!
The terrorists were illegals. They sneaked weapons through security or had their accomplices place them on the plane during the night. We now know that baggage handlers and security personel can have criminal records or even fail to be US citizens, or even in this nation legally.
It really chaps my a__ that we are now the ones who should accept more hurdles.

Your right on... ok.. I had a little fun at the Alta Vista translator....

Atta and Alomari reportedly arrived in Boston the previous Sunday, drove back to Portland and then flew again to Boston. Drove back to Portland... so they could do some physical investigations of the next targets to pass on to other members of their cell???
and then flew again to Boston...arial view of targets????

Some of the stewardess called airports, but I don't know which ones.

Of course.
And I like the way the airline employee calls HIM a 'nitwit'.
Good thing we have such clever people working in that capacity.
