Reporting some strange traffic 'sights' hubby saw on his way home tonight.
He works in Columbus and was on his way home @ 6:30, traveling I-70.
Heading west on I-70, going towards Columbus, was a semi truck, and it had written 'Special Task Force One' written on the rig. It was being escorted by the escort car, 2 sheriffs, State Highway Patrol, followed up by 2 more sheriffs and another State Highway Patrol.
For @ 20 miles, at each exit, heading East towards Granville/Kirkersville, there were fire trucks sitting with their lights going.
(the direction they were going is towards Columbus International Airport)
Any Columbus freepers there, hear of any 'breaking news'? Are they maybe giving the public a 'show of force' or preparedness?
We don't get local channels, since we have sat. tv.
I thought that if there was a 'crisis' it'd be reported on. Strange.
Under the circumstances, I can see WHY it was not widely known. But it SURE would have been a blessing to know about it, so we could be there, to show thanks and appreciation to welcome back those 'troops' of compassion and loving service. God bless them all!
