There are several websites that say the same thing about the Bible (gays and witches must be killed, etc). Just because the Bible says gays must die doesn't mean Christians will kill them. People are not robots although you can always find people to kill in the name of [fill in the blank]. We recently had two guys die for marijuana.

But Appy, you must admit, the new testament does not say this, that is the advocating of killing of gays. And, too, Jesus lived an exemplary life. On another thread an article was quoted wherein the author said when discussing religion and defending it always ask for "just the facts, ma'am." If the facts of the religion say one thing, but a member of the religion invokes the religion and does an evil thing, that is a relflection of the individual. On the other hand, if the religion actually espouses evil acts, as a basic part of its tenets, it must be considered in light of that. V's wife.

I was just thinking the same thing. The New Testiment also pretty much seems to suggest that no other religions but Christianity are worthwhile, and non-believers go to hell. Christianity had it's own Crusades and Inquisitions centuries ago. They grew and learn and changed, and you don't see that sort of thing anymore, really.
Unfortunately, it seems to be Islams turn...what a bitch they had to go completely nutso in an age of airplanes, guns and nuclear bombs :(
