I've been seeing mega patriotic ribbons, flags and spirit around my part of the country. This calamity awoke the sheeple with whom I work. They're out in force for justice. I'm so sad that it took something of this magnitude to do it.

I also have been seeing more and more American flags flying and am so glad to see it. Mine was up before September 11th and will not be brought down in 30 days.

I took the opportunity yesterday to phone Sen. Gordon Smith when he was on the Lars Larson show. I told him (Is it possible to misquote yourself????I'll test my memory!)"Sen. Smith, (he knows me better than he'd like and you could hear the silent hesitation of - OH NO! Not HER again!)No one has given you, Mr. Walden, Mr. Wyden and President Bush a harder time over land use and the suckerfish mess than me. I want you to know those battles are on hold. We are with you, we are here to serve and we appreciate all of you in this time of crisis. Thank you."
He then gave assurance that he was still working on it and I believe the farmers will have their water. I hope they have all gone home from the headgates to their families. It is time to be an American first, we can be farmers next spring and WE WILL FARM......FOR AMERICA!
We have gathered another 6 sheets of names for the petition. Going to enter them now.
