The last glimpse that Scriptures give of Paul tells of of a bitter disappointment.
No man stood with me, but all men forsook me (2 Tim 4:16)
When friends failed Paul, he seemed to cling more closely to that Friend that sticks closer than a brother. The failure of his friends caused him to seek more earnestly his never-failing Saviour, and there he found both strength and confidence.
Ill that God blesses is our good,
And unblest good is ill;
And all is right that seems most wrong,
If it be His sweet will.

The 'CHIEF' has joined Donna on the 'other side'. My heart is with you, A-G, and, as always, my prayers.
The 'losses' of the last month are a 'burden' I cannot carry, and in the mercy and love of Jesus, He will take them from me. And, I, as I am called to do, will continue to 'LOVE'. Bless you, dear sister and your family.

Dear A.G.
My prayers are with you.
Lost my mom to this awful thing when My sister and I were in High School.
She wouldn't let go until we all said goodbye... doc's said that she could not hear us beacuse she was too "out of it". But when I said, "It's ok mom, we will be ok." a tear came out of her eye... coincidence???? I don't think so.. she passed about 3-4 hours later.
So glad your sister was giggly :-)at the end... I am sure it made you think of all kinds of past happy memories!!!What a neat last gift she gave you
You sound like a neat lady! I wish you the best... Sherry from Washington

Thank you, AG, for letting us into your life during these past months. Donna will now join my list of Freepers, who are with the good Lord, and for whose souls I reflect on.
Let your memories be joyful and may you bask in the radiance from your dear sister, Donna.
