Tell me Kate, is their legally binding evidence for the WTC terrorist attacks to Osama Bin Laden? Is it obvious that he was behind it? Without any doubt?
What was Milosevic when those crimes were comitted? Was he just some politician, or was he president, having the army under his command? He admitted that he financed and suppored the same paramilitary and military forces that comitted war crimes in Bosnia, Kosovo and Croatia. And there is no legally binding evidence?
Based on such standards we could then excuse the KLA of their crimes, the Croat generals of their responsibility for crimes against Serbs, or Naser Oric for the crimes of his forces against Serbs. But we know they were responsible for those crimes and they will (or have already been) be hold responsible for their actions. Just as Milosevic will be. Like it or not.
If you sincerely believe that Milosevic is innocent and has nothing to do what happened in Bosnia, Croatia, Kosovo, ignoring all the facts and his position, then you'r very naive.
Or you just simply taken the position of defending certain people accused of war crimes. I for one will not defend and justify anyone responsible for such crimes, regardless what nationality that person is. And I will surely never call those people patriots, or freedom fighters, when they're everything but that.
There is absolutely nothing patriotic in killing civilians, raping women, burning houses, or levelling whole cities/villages to the ground. Whoever did those things. Am I clear enough Kate?
