To: SC DOC
If there are any hackers serving time right now, the justice department ought to trade off time left for service to our country. These guys do their thing for the thrill and challenge and should use their talents for something productive. My only concern is that they may inadvertently complicate surveillance and operational activities of our military & intelligence community.

I'm sure the hackers wanted the media glory, but it seems to me you are both right: it would have been more prudent to hand this list over to the proper authorities. Not only will they head for the hills, but they will change their names and Net addresses immediately.

What I meant was for them to work within the framework and under the supervision of the military and intelligence network.
