Freepers or anyone else who engage in bigoted attacks agains Arab Americans or innocent Muslims in this country are engaging in seditious conduct. By stirring up internal division and animosity they are helping the enemy.
Some of us need to grow up, some need to shut up, and more need to speak up.
And what does this mean? Will you aim your car at them? Hassle them on the street? Pick fights? Call them names? The nonsense you are espousing is a recipe for panic and defeat. There are perhaps dozens of Muslim police and firefighters buried under the NY rubble. You ought to be ashamed of yourself.
What does this mean? It means we need to be in a heightened state of alert. It means we need to know who our neighbors are so we know if the enemy is in our own neighborhood. If there are muslims in our neighborhood, we need to watch for suspicious activity and report any to the proper authorities. We need to never turn our backs on muslims. We've seen how cowardly their attack on Tuesday was. Don't expect them to attack you man to man. My law enforcement training taught be to always be aware of my surroundings. Now, instead of looking just for criminals, I'll also be looking for muslims. If that offends your political correctness, too bad. I'm not ashamed of enhancing my chances of survival.
Why do you bother?
People who have need to use the "racism" crutch are demonstrably short of argument.
You're so full of it. You just switched from talking about whether there are American Moslems who want to kill my family to the fact that there are Moslem extremists worldwide who might wish to do so. You can't even keep your focus! I suggest that you help the war effort by staying home, watching TV, and buying extra milk for the weekend.
So, being proactive about my survival now that we are at war makes me un-American? You are obviously a brain-dead liberal who's mind is experiencing severe cognitive dissonance as it, on one hand clings to the concept of political correctness, and on the other hand, realizes that America is now a much more dangerous place.
And when you did, like many American Moslem groups have already done, the creep squad here on FR would still want to beat the crap out of you.
Fortunately, the biggest bigots are the biggest wusses.
I see now. A distraction are you?
I didn't realize I was dialoguing with a jr. High schooler.
Racist, bigot and wus?
Thinking about it in retrospect, anyone who would post a thread like this one, can't have a lot of intellectual amunition other than his/her exaggerated opinion of self.
Have a nice day.
No hate here. Just an American planning on surviving the war instead of being a casualty. May you open your eyes before it's too late.
I know that Charles Martel and others defended Europe against military expansion by the Moors, but much of what has been romanticized in the Crusades was an ungodly mess of superstitiously misguided reprobates killing in the name of Christ.
We need to fight the war as a war between the U.S. and anti-American terrorists. The fact that many Muslims (and quite a few Americans) wrongly (i.e., too simplistically) think of our nation as a "Christian nation" is likely to confuse the issue. It is likely to trick folks into thinking that it's just a war of Christians against infidels.
That's the mistake which seems to be cropping up all over. It was the mentality of the Crusaders--most of whom were no more Christians than my dog is.
Please don't read these comments on my part as either un-American or anti-Christian heresy. What I am saying is that we do not even need to frame the war as "Christians versus infidels" in order to seek the Lord's blessing. The average person may think so, but the average person is not as thoughtful as he should be.
As a matter of fact, I believe that the Lord is actually more inclined to honor our prayers if we do not take His name in vain. That means I think we need to admit that most of the folks in our country are not Christians in the first place.
I was born in New Jersey, northern, and still have many friends there, my question is: who was celebrating in the streets when satan struck? My friends tell me that Jersey City streets, filled with muslims were celebrating the attack, I wasn't there, also Paterson, New Jersey (friends there also,) muslims were celebrating the attack.
Now check this out and determine whether they are muslim or middle eastern, so far I've not differentiated.....
In HIS Service.
You are posting your notions about interning all Muslims, getting them out of the country, and the false notion that their religion preaches hate all over FR. We have a policy against racist posts here. Perhaps it's time we asked JimRob to enforce it.
