Freepers or anyone else who engage in bigoted attacks agains Arab Americans or innocent Muslims in this country are engaging in seditious conduct. By stirring up internal division and animosity they are helping the enemy.
Some of us need to grow up, some need to shut up, and more need to speak up.
Sure. There are, however, Mullahs (clerics with a small following) and Ayatollahs (clerics with a large following), according to my understanding. Please correct me if I am in error on this point.
The very fact that there are many quasi-independent clerics who have not acted is disturbing.
I do seem to recall that several organizations of Moslems in this country have condemned the attacks. I am sure you can find their statements, if you really try.
Another poster was kind enough to locate three such items. However, there is a difference between saying the attacks were bad, and condemning in strong, clear language the vermin that murdered our people. As nearly as I can tell, this has not been done.
Note too that Afghanistan has threatened to declare a Jihad against the US if that country is bombed. Where are the moslem clerics who will return the favor? If they are in fact independent, why doesn't one - at least one! - declare a Jihad against the taliban? Or Oscuma bint Larden?
As I said earlier, their silence causes me to wonder.
Hate to splash the cold water of reality in your face, but the majority of Muslims in the world HATE the USA and are happy as pigs in slop over what happened.
And by the way, we are one or two more attacks away from interning nationals from suspect countries.

Yes, talk is cheap. And govenments which practice oppression and murder will not hesitate to lie to us about their intentions. (Even our own government has done so.)
But the fact that some people lie does not mean everyone does. I have yet to see any evidence that the Moslems in this country who have spoken out against the terrorist attacks have been insincere. Have you?
By the way, do you actually know any Moslems?
Of course, your pro-muslim incitements have no effect whatsoever. Just in case you haven't noticed, all the terrorists identified so far have been Muslims (not a Christian Arab in the bunch), they have left suicide notes praising Islam and claiming their imminent reward.
Thousands of my fellow citizens are dead, and the sensitivities of Arabs in my country are not nearly as much of a concern as the grief of tens of thousands touched by the Muslim Mass Murder.
I am not promoting concentration camps, you are. I am not promoting beating or shooting citizens of Arab descent.
I am supporting the deportation of every illegal Muslim of any race in this country, including students, pilot trainees and those learning American military tactics.
There are an unknown number of terrorists still loose among us, and catching the animals is the paramount priority. If I am mistaken for a Muslim and stopped, I will accept it cheerfully and thank the authorities for the attempt.

These totalitarians have been at war with America from within for decades. They use a different MO than physical attack and force, but the subversive nature of their war and agenda is a bigger threat to our constitution and freedom than the threat we can physically squash.

There are virtually no reprisals against anyone in America. But the left would have us think there are or might be. The left wants Americans to believe a few isolated evil acts are comparable to what occurred in NYC and DC. Dan Rather and the CBS evening news just ran a piece about how Moslems in America are being persecuted.
The Communist party, the socialists, the Democrat Party, CBS and others are all on the same page. The New York Times ran an article today and lamented a rise in xenophobia.
The left knows they cannot bash Bush, they know it is not business as usual, but they are laying the groundwork for when this is all over. They will give Bush, our military and America only the support polls tell them is needed. Schumer, Hillary, Nadler and others will turn in a heartbeat when there are, as there will be, reversals, when there are more American deaths.

Yes, I have know several Muslims. The curious thing is that none of them deemed it necessary to dress as if their camels were parked outside, and I had no clue they were Muslim until a long time after meeting them.
They were close to their culture, but indistinguishable from me or you.
They are Americans.

I'm not even talking about legitimate racial profiling. I'm talking about overt hatred and violence directed blindly at anyone with dark skin or a head covering.
