Freepers or anyone else who engage in bigoted attacks agains Arab Americans or innocent Muslims in this country are engaging in seditious conduct. By stirring up internal division and animosity they are helping the enemy.

Some of us need to grow up, some need to shut up, and more need to speak up.

Innocent Arabs, Muslims, et al, should take heart and be comforted by the fact that they are in good company. Even The God of Christianity, Himself, gets judged by the lowest common denominator that professes to be speaking for Him as a Christian "guide to the blind".

But God exposes them: Rom.2:24 "The name of God is blasphemed among the [pagan/unchurched] because of you ...."

Anyone with a sense of history knows the nexus between Islam and violence, and a casual look at the news can't hide the fact that the relationship is persistent, consistent and constant.

Seriously, good for him! But there needs to be more - a clear, strong message from the moslem power structure. If they can pronounce a death sentence on a novelist, they can do so on Oscuma bint Larden. The fact that they don't - that only isolated individuals do - is suggestive.

What do you mean by "moslem power structure"? As far as I know, no such thing exists. There is no Moslem equivalent of the Pope, for instance. In other words, no one speaks for all of Islam.

I do seem to recall that several organizations of Moslems in this country have condemned the attacks. I am sure you can find their statements, if you really try.

Publius, I think this is going to be a wake-up call in countless, positive ways for our nation. I'm hopeful that our immigration "policy" (har har) will turn 180 degrees. Get the illegal interlopers - of all racial, ethnic and religious flavors - the hell outta here. STAT.
