Thanks for your knowledge, time and effort. I think it helps. Corporations are faceless and nameless. Their officers are not. It is the officer who is responsible. Do not ever let them hide behind the corporate form.

Isn't the company w/i it's rights? If not, can someone explain to me why not? Would you say the same about this company sending contributions to the Taliban?
Sending box lunches to the terrorists already arrested?
Where do you draw the line?
How about losing massive numbers of clients? Does that count?
You want reasons? Think.

"
The company is entirely within its rights." Is that the view from Canada?
To: SiouxsieQ
Isn't the company within it's rights? Agreed and I am within my rights to write them a stiff letter to say I disapprove [#93]. I am hoping that by writing a firm and calm letter I can show them a reason to change this offensive and stupid application of an otherwise reasonable policy.

My email:
Dear Sir or Maam,
So your board of directors considers the American flag just another "devisive political emblem" which might anger someone by its mere presence in an employee's cube?
SHAME ON YOU!!
You have not heard the last of this, only the first scream of outrage.
You should all be fired and deported to the tyranny of your choice, your AMERICAN passports torn up and burned!
signed, etc.

I am not yet aware whether your company does any business in this state -- however, if I find out that it does I can assure you completely that I will use all of my influence and contacts to ensure that your company never does business in this state again." Go for it! :-)

American International about which I know a little. Trace its management.

At Continental Airlines we were requested to display the flag everywhere we could. The company even lined the courtyard of our HQ with American flags. Gordon Bethune is perhaps one of the most outspoken patriotic CEOs out there.
To: cd jones
On a day of national mourning and prayer, a Boca Raton company had its managers confiscate some American flags from employees' cubicles, saying other workers might find them offensive. Offensive to who? The terrorists? Osama bin Laden?
I say BOYCOTT this company into bankruptcy if they do not allow their employees to display their flags and issue a public apology to the American people (and fire the ones that made the decision to pull the flags)

This company conducts commerce protected by the rule of law and very values enshrined in the flag it seeks to prohibit. Any way and anywhere you can, financially destroy this company.

Here's the email page on NCCI's website. They have de-activated the Customer Service email link on the page that appears. But if you click the "E-Mail Our Webmaster" link and then scroll down, there is another Customer Service email link that is operating. In other words, the CAO (Chief As****e Officer) is under the bed with a pillow over his ears? Doesn't want to hear about it?
LOL

I have just emailed and faxed the following to company CEO Bill Schrempf(info for doing the same can be found in
Post #46:
Dear Mr. Schrempf: In my business dealings I will be certain to stop doing business with any company or individual that has any association in any capacity with NCCI Holdings, Inc.
The company's decision this past week to enforce a brutal and tone deaf policy concerning the American flag indicates that the company is run by, at the very least, incompetents, or, at most, traitors to the nation that provides NCCI with its prosperity.
I will remember NCCI's name. I sincerely hope the company goes bankrupt in the near future.
Sincerely, etc.
I put the complaint in economic terms. That's the language best understood by executives like Mr. Schrempf.

Good letter: to the point, and forceful without rudeness.
Thank you.

NCCI provides on-site amenities, including child care, gym and a Starbucks cafe. It also has an employee-community volunteer program and flexible work scheduling. And helpfully providing moral support to the enemy.
