I can imagine the conversation. "Now Sandy, Sandy! You know I am far too busy snorting coccaine with Roger, Selling pardons to the highest bidder and loading up the U-Haul with the People's property!"

Sandy Berger, Clinton's National Security Agency Chief blames GWB's FBI & CIA

Sandy Berger, head of the super-spy National Security Agency under Clinton told Wolf Blitzer and Charlie Rose that the (Bush) FBI and CIA had dropped the ball, but immediately said that we musn't play the blame game. Asked how long the Attack on America had probably been in the planning stage, Berger estimated that attack planning had taken probably several weeks or perhaps 2 months (completely within the term of the Bush White House and Bush Agency appointees).

I hope this is not a re-post, I searched and did not find it. I want everyone to know Clinton and his low-life apologist are at the root of America's problems today!

Quote of the Day by Guillam

I am putting together a collection of political Editorial Cartoons since the Terrorist Attack Tuesday. I am not looking for links to them on the Web somewhere, I am looking for cartoons you have posted or intend to post. They must be posted on FR to be eligible. Give me a Ping if you run across one on a thread. My typing error made me laugh, so I left it.)};^D)

"There were a couple of points, including in December, where there was intelligence indicative of bin Laden's whereabouts," former National Security Adviser Sandy Berger told The Associated Press. "But I can categorically tell you that at no point was it ripe enough to act."

Not ripe enough, Sandy? It was ripe enough to send cruise missiles against bin Laden's camps in August '98, even though it was obvious that bin Laden and his people would be long gone -- U.S. embassy dependents and personnel of international organizations had been evacuated from Afghanistan over the previous couple of days, I saw it reported in Indian newspapers on line.

Of course, the purpose of those strikes was not military, it wasn't to get bin Laden or his organization at all. Simultaneously, we bombed the aspirin factory in the Sudan, with the result that the Sudan released to Pakistan lieutenants of bin Laden that it was holding on suspicion of being involved in the East African embassy bombings. The Sudan had offered to let the FBI interrogate those two guys, and the FBI was in the process of taking them up on the offer. Seems to me Bill Clinton must have been afraid of what they would tell the FBI. And the predictably ineffective bombing of the camps in Afghanistan was for purposes of cover and misdirection. Pity people had to die in the process.

Typical of Clinton. And, come to think of it, you were one of the few officials, Sandy, who was in on the decision to bomb the aspirin factory, and I understand you still claim that the bombing was justified. I guess you think that intelligence was ripe. I guess that's typical of you.

I've had the same thought's as HK.

"Now Sandy, Sandy! You know I am far too busy snorting coccaine with Roger, Selling pardons to the highest bidder and loading up the U-Haul with the People's property!"

This or something along its ilk would make a great cartoon, but I don't expect to see it in print.

Corrupt el creepo clinton, his conniving wife and their low-life apologists still don't understand that you cannot separate a degenerate elected official’s personal life from his public life.

The degenerate clinton inflicted his debasement on the country with deleterious effects.

Clinton misconstrued his high approval ratings as approval for his degeneracy.

He was so busy getting it on, he couldn’t attend to the people’s business in the way he should have.

We are living the disastrous results of clinton and the liberals saturating the culture with this stupidity.

No one remembers Clinton etal and this?

"Clinton offered to reduce the sentences of 16 members of the Armed Forces of National Liberation, commonly known by its Spanish initials, FALN, on the condition they renounce violence. The group was involved in more than 100 bombings in the United States during the 1970s and 1980s."

Watching Clinton at the National Cathedral the other day was like watching OJ at Nicole's funeral and Robert Blake at his wife's funeral.....it gave me the creeps. Denial Squared.

Remember that Willian Jefferson Clinton was OUT OF THE USA when this terror happened.....he was in Australia....not in the state of New York. And where was his Senator wife?

That brings up a very interesting point.

How did he get back to the US? The planes were grounded within the mainland and foreign flights were being diverted to Canada and other countries!

Someone please solve this question.

It just made me sick to watch Clinton make political hay out of this mess by appearing in New York so that he could squeeze crying women (only the pretty ones) who lost relatives.

Yes, I remember President Clinton coming down to Norfolk and making a "solemn promise" to the families, friends and shipmates of the USS Cole to avenge their deaths. Apparently, when the opportunity arose, he squandered it. I saw Mr. Berger recently on TV blaming the misstep on the Pentagon - unless it was Secretary Cohen, I can't think of anyone in the Pentagon that would pass up the chance to avenge the sailors of the USS Cole.
