I'm not very bright. Please point out where JR says he wants to curtail any freedom. I'll put the critical quotes in bold for emphasis:
"This is not the time to raise doubts about our leaders."
"This is not the time to raise conspiracy theories."
"This is not the time to second guess our intelligence agencies. This is war."
I can only conclude from these quotes that anyt posts which do not parrot the official war party line will be censored. This is fascism, pure and simple. It's a Nazi-like culture. This is not America as I understand America.
Note that I have no issue with not allowing the posting of militarily sensitive information which may compromise the security or success of actual military plans and operations. But the quotes above go way way beyond that, don't you think?

Because: Frankly, if you do not want to see our president lead our nation and the world to victory, then, go elsewhere. Really, this is NOT the time to putz around.

Dear Frank Rich,
Read what Mr. Robinson wrote here, and GET A CLUE:
"This is not the time to raise doubts about our leaders. This is not the time to raise conspiracy theories. This is not the time to second guess our intelligence agencies. This is war. This is survival of our way of life. We must unite behind our Commander-in-chief and do all we possibly can to support him and our war efforts. We do not have a choice in this matter. The terrorists who attack us do so without warning and without mercy. They do not want peace. They do not want to co-exist. They do not want appeasement or negotiation. They want to destroy us. They want to destroy our way of life. They want to destroy our freedom. They want to destroy our nation. They have no conscience, no respect for life, no compassion and will give no quarter. Death of the USA is what they seek."
Sincerely,
summer

This is fascism, pure and simple. No, fascism would dictate that you couldn't open your own website, expressing your own political views.
Fascism would probably dictate also that if you did, you would be hunted down and shot.

Organizations have rules. so does this site . You tried to run a site without rules, and it turned to ash ( pun intended ), but you can still go back there. I suggest that you do .

He says at this site. He won't do it if you voice your opinion elsewhere. Property rights are being exercised - even in a time of war.

This is not America as I understand America. You are unquestionably one of the least responsible, most spoiled, whining crybaby epitome of a baby boomer I have ever had the misfortune to run across. If you don't like this site, shove off and start your own. Again.
And fail. Again.
And how dare YOU speak of 'poor moderation' when you are singularly the very worst moderator I have ever been under.
It is perfectly reasonable for Jim to set the tone of this web site, and his moderation is the reason this web site has succeeded all these years.

Your #133:
As I see it, this is the critical, heart of the matter,
This is war.
Nuff said.

This is not America as I understand America. This is private property. It's not a democracy. You don't get a vote. If Jim wants to "censor" any posts that contain the letter "e" it's his prerogative.
And this AIN'T America. It's a website. You can blather all you want on the street corners and in the bars with the rest of the Lazy Boy generals, but on this site, Jim makes the rules.
If you find it so repugnant, leave. Otherwise, be a good boy and shut your whine hole.
