The most frightening thing about this article to me is that Jill is a teacher, that her opinion is in the mainstream for that profession, and this is the socialist pablum they've been feeding us and our children since the 1960s. Her idea of a solution never worked with bullies on the playground, the supposed training ground for living in our society. The sad thing is that if anyone had to be chosen as random victim and killed by these ruthless animals, why couldn't it be someone like Ms Nelson or the others who feel as she does about how to deal with the prepetrators of this heinous act? Imagine if this were the case we could just shrug stuff like this off and go about our business. Why even after watching a group of terrorists take a plane full of them and their loved ones and crash into Babs Lee's office, the rest of us could kick back, observe a second of silence, crack a cold brew and rise above it by not giving them another thought. We could take comfort in knowing they'd have wanted it that way.
