[history]
September 15, 2001 -- Boxing legend Muhammad Ali, in "anguish" over the horrific terror attacks, says that if the mass killers are fellow Muslims, they're a disgrace to his religion.
"These radicals are doing things that God is against," the 59-year-old Ali said in a statement written after the destruction of the World Trade Center.

Thanks for helping to spread the word: Islam is worse than Nazism
You're on drugs. I can't wait for you people to start on the Christians.
Ah, the argument of moral equivalence rears it's ugly head again.
Or didn't you know that the Mufti of Palestine was a Nazi collaborator?
Thought so...

The issue that throws most Christians off is that Christianity is solely a religion: Islam is not. Mohammed was not only a religious leader but also a military and political leader. hence, Muslims do not view politics and military separately from religion. Makes it more complex and difficult to understand. Not difficult to understand. That is exactly why the Muslim faith is such a critical part of this equation. To understand that is not racist or bigoted.

Where's the Hollywood elite? Celebrity blood drives, charity fund raisers for victims...have they nothing to offer their country in this time of need? Barbra Streisand, Ben Afleck, Steven Spielberg? Hollywood political activists... where are you?
I read that Kathleen Turner was dishing out food at a New York Hospital, and Daniel Day-Lewis was carting blood supplies near the WTC wreckage.

On a side note, Spielberg's currently showing "Band of Brothers" may turn out to be great. The first two episodes were very good and the reviewers unanimously say the series gets better as it goes along. I go to movies about once every 5 years so I'm not qualified to say ... but there was much flack about the advertising with the US flag upside down.

I don't know if Olivia Newton-John qualifies as Hollywood elite but she is currently on tour and had a charity fund raiser scheduled for Thursday night in Dayton Ohio for I believe the Kettering Medical Center and was unsure if the show would go on. Apparently they decided to turn over all proceeds to relief for the disaster and went ahead with the show. It was quite emotional from what I hear. A huge flag hung down the middle of the stage.

thanks very much for the positive information.
Kathleen Turner is the daughter of a diplomat..she grew up living all over the world.
Daniel Day Lewis....British I think. God bless him.
Someone else mentioned that Olivia Newton John had stood up to be counted too. I don't know if she retains her Australian citizenship, but I did hear today that the Australia military had already volunteered.

Take off, boy. Nobody is afraid of you here. You're too dim to even know when you've been beaten, so I won't bother with you. Enjoy what little time you have left on FR.

Or didn't you know that the Mufti of Palestine was a Nazi collaborator? So were some Lutherans. Therefore, all Lutherans are Nazis. Right?
To: Stingray
So Appy, are you the one with your finger on the "abuse" button every time someone tells the truth about Islam? Why would I hit the abuse button because someone told the truth about Islam? SIEG HEIL!
To: AppyPappy
So were some Lutherans. Therefore, all Lutherans are Nazis. Right?
The difference, Appy, lies in the fact that the New Testament of the Bible (you know, Romans, the book upon which Luther based his movement) condemns evil, the Koran condones it, a distinction you obviously don't understand.
Put a Muslim fundamentalist and a Christian fundamentalist in the same room. Who has more to fear from the other based on the teachings they each hold sacred? You have yet to answer that question.
I figure it was either you or calvary that got the post on the Koran pulled last night. Everyone is free to speak and exprss an opinion so long as they agree with you, right?
Sieg heil, indeed...
