Barbara Lee just became the only dissinting voter in the USE OF FORCE RESOLUTION in the House....Senate passed 98-0, House passed with only ONE (1) "No" Vote....time to recall this traitor!
This is reminisant of the only NO VOTE from the 8 DEC 1941 Declaration of War vote.
So is Barbara Lee now saying that the Oakland/Berkley, CA are is against our national survival and self defense?
They should be encouraged to leave America permanently

Oh. That explains why Bob Barr has a total of 8 co-sponsors for a declaration of war.
Bellicose rhetoric and senseless sabre rattling allows politicians to posture and preen before the cameras. But, they have yet to take any meaningful action and have certainly not invoked the war powers act. Why don't you acknowledge what is really happening which is the refusal of the legislative branch to fully empower the executive branch?
But, maybe you are right. We have a war on drugs, a war on poverty, and a war on crime. We might as well have a war on...I am sure we will think of someone. These wars of words and money and good intentions have yet to vanquish a single enemy.
Please watch the House and the Senate carefully. They have NOT unleashed the dogs of war.

I'm not sure of all the countries of origin, but I would be that all are represented in all of them. Most of the Arabs I personally know are Christian.

I know what a state of national emergency means. I also know it's not a state of war, nor are we on a war footing. We are in a maximim defensive posture.
I listened to the Pres. declare bin Laden the enemy this morning. That's just silly. We are experiencing the wrath of a One Thousand Year Jihad that existed before bin Laden and will exist long after him.
It is narrow-sighted to try and identify one individual as the catalyst of a collision of cultures. It satisfies the public's need to have an enemy with a name and a face, but does virtually nothing to address the problem.
Bin Laden, Hussein and Arafat, et al, are scary guys that I wouldn't mind seeing taken off the stage. But, they are nothing more than the heads of the hydra. In this case, cutting off the heads does not kill the body.
Sigh. I suppose this should be no surprise, since she was a protege of pinko Ron Dellums (gag)!
