Sure, you'd like to see the "Northern Alliance" do the "ground work" (translation: take the casualties) -- but the Russians have already been there, done that, and there's no way they're going into the killing fields as a proxy army for the USA pilots who sit safely at 30k -- especially as it was the USA who trained and armed bin Laden (including Stingers) against them in the first place. And let's not forget the Russians also did most of the dying in the WWII European Theatre (at the hands of the Nazis whom you have discounted as not being so bad in previous posts).
The Christian communities you speak of in East Timor, Northern Afghanistan, Lebanon, southern Sudan, Nigeria, etc., are battered minority remnants, not capable of much, and sadly, having received little help from Uncle Sam and Co. The Phillipines are a different story, as Christians are the vast majority there.

I really can't believe YOUR back... I NEVER said the NAZI's were cool in any way shape or form.... I said ONLY that I was proud of the German army and not ANY that took part in murder. The artical you are refering to, I was one to defend innocent people by believing murderers should be put on trial and not defended. I was then attacked by numerous anti CROATIAN/Serb nationalist. So don't go running from room to room calling me a NAZI sympathizer. For the rest of you... I would have made this a private letter, but this person 'labeled' me and I felt I needed to defend my name. As for these battles I mention, these are already going on, and I'm simply saying maybe WE as AMERICANS could be helping them out while we help ourselves. By the way, you have misunderstood something here... I've also never said I was FROM there, I'm a second generation American. We homesteaded land in Northern Minnesota in 1907. I have reletives in both Austria/Croatia and I'm of that nationality witch was related to that story. We keep in contact so I was able to give somewhat first hand knowledge.
