ROFLMAO!! good one...

Personally, I'd prefer a topographical map version - Flat. Like a parking lot.

I think your map is due for an update. Just my opinion mind you...

I'm personally acquainted with a few in the oil industry who see no problem drilling through radioactive glass.

Think Bush will have any trouble pushing the ANWR exploration now?
To: DoughtyOne
How about one of those USA Today weather maps - with some bright red spots for >>2000 degrees Fahr around Kabul?

Rather than "Toast", how about "Parking"?
And let Chevron have the former Saudi Arabia.

We could use it for spacesuit-sailboarding..Flat, glowing & windy
To: FlJoePa
Absolutely, totally funny!!! The best I've seen since this whole mess started.

Afghanistan will soon be the in place to replace the Bonneville Salt Flats as a place to set land speed records. A perfectly flat sea of glass.

I notice that both maps still have the West Bank marked for a separate country (Arafat-land or something). I suggest that once Taliban-country is scorched over, the so-called Palestinians be moved there (it's so much roomier than the West Bank and I don't begrudge the Palestinians "inheriting" whatever is left from the former inhabitants) and the West Bank go back to Israel.

Brilliant! Your map is winging its way across cyberspace to my entire email list. Expect to be receiving it in your own email box in a matter of days. I hope that alone will be credit to your creativeness.
Thank you for giving me a heartfelt laugh. It's been quite a while.
To: FlJoePa
Hilarious! You need to mark out the new "Trail of Ululations" whereupon the former residents will be traveling.

It seems many have forgotten that Jordan took Iraq's side in the Gulf War.
