The cover for the upcoming CD from a popular hip-hop group portrays an eerily familiar sight.

Against a backdrop of morning skies, the towers of the World Trade Center stand engulfed in flame from the impact of twin explosions. Clouds of smoke spew from the upper stories, all but obscuring the tip of what was once the epicenter of the New York City skyline.

They're just daring us to deny them their 'freedom of speech', so thy can deny us ours. Useful idiots. Let them put this out there. I say, they wouldn't dare. BTW, can you tell what's in his hand? Cell phone? I'm trying to understand the symbology of this, as I feel they should probably be checked by dot.gov for prior knowledge. Surely their side had cell phones on those planes, as well as the murder victums.

As many FREEPERS as possible should save this image and this thread- I have a strong feeling that it is going to disappear, along with any coverage of this "strange coincidence".

By the way, I am expecting a wave of domestic terrorism to come: we have several thousand young, violent felons, heavily armed, organized into paramilitary gangs, and already occupying the centers of most of our large cities.

If you are in Public Safety, BE CAREFUL OUT THERE!

I hope I'm wrong, but I don't think this was a coincidence.

Typical of the hypocracy of most pop musicians. Anti-capitalists making money due to the capitalist system they hate. Another vial of crack, please.....

"But they can't sidestep that the reason this is being censored is a political one, not a sympathetic one. It's not out of respect to the victims."

On the part of the label it is probably a combination of concern for the bottom line (sparing the expense of having their office trashed by an angry mob, for instance) and respect for dictates of common decency. But I can easily understand how this "comrade" would have difficulty grasping either of those concepts.

"Riley said he lobbied to keep the cover intact because he wanted people to consider that it is not only foreign terrorists, but the United States as well, that have committed atrocious acts."

Well, Riley, you walking s**t-eater.............allow me to be among the first to offer to bitch-slap you the entire length of the concourse as I throw your sorry, whale-s**t little ass onto the first airplane that's allowed to fly to The Mother Continent.

In other words, Homes, let me put it in language you can understand: F**k off and die.

Riley said the cover design, completed in June, was "supposed to be a metaphor for the capitalist state being destroyed through the music."

They will be giving the CD away for free, right?

I've been thinking exactly the same thing. Black Muslim gangs. Before the pantywaist hand-wringers here start hurling accusations at you or me for such a statement, let me refer them to a little thing called "facts", or "recent history", or "statements of record" by the oh-so-eminent Right Reverend Farrakhan.

In a back-handed sort of twisted way, I almost hope they try it. Wipe out several problems while blood runs hot in this country.

I will not be going anywhere unarmed for quite awhile (of course, I normally am armed anyway). I expect the trouble to begin in L.A. (because of it's history of insurrections) and Detroit (because of the very large Arab population, a few of whom are undoubtedly terrorist organizers). I have quite a lot of reason to think that this will actually happen- just remember you heard it here first.

It almost looks like the girl holding the wands is tracing the trajectories of the planes. Uncanny. That's too weird.

Coup founder Boots Riley said he argued with the label to keep the original design, which a distributor had threatened not to release. Riley said the cover design, completed in June, was "supposed to be a metaphor for the capitalist state being destroyed through the music"

I'm sure there will be plenty of space on any boat or plane to ship this little piece of.... anywhere in the world him and his lefty friends want to go.
