What the terrorist wanted to achieve. What they will likely do next.

Many Americans erroneously belief that the primary intent of the terrorist was to create a huge media event that would frighten Americans and disrupt the normal operation of the country. They are wrong. This was first an act of pure hatred. The so-called terrorists wanted to kill as many Americans as possible. If they could have killed 500,000 or 5,000,000 or 50,000,000, they jubilantly would have. They will try again, this time emboldened by their success and strengthened by a massive influx of resources from vast numbers of like-minded people, organizations and countries.

Our enemy will endeavor to kill far more the next time with new tactics and weapons. The next major strike will almost certainly employ biological agents as these are the most efficient killing tool. The agents can be made fairly easily by a small group at a very modest expense. The simplicity of the production facilities makes them difficult to detect. The deadly products are highly portable. The toxins have the highest death to weight, size, and cost ratio. The agents can be readily disguised, transported and released. The plan will likely be to release these toxins simultaneously in a dozen cities. The WTC attack planned to kill around 50,000. The next large attack will target millions to tens of millions. The goal will be the same -- not simply mass propaganda but rather mass death.

The toxins will be made in the U.S. using surplus biological equipment in several redundant makeshift labs each run by an independent terrorists cell. The toxins will be delivered in a fairly low-tech yet highly reliable manner by terrorists on suicide missions. Once the release is well on its way, they will vengefully inform their victims of their coming painful deaths. They will expect that the massive loss of life will so incapacitate the U.S. that it will not be able to come to the effective aid of Israel once Israel goes to war with its Muslim neighbors. They hope that this war will kill as many people as possible as horribly as possible. This will purify the region for rebirth of their "true religion". It is their only hope to destroy Israel.

The above is a reasonable estimation of the threat to this country. It is supported by the actions and goals of these people. We must respond in proportion to the threat. This means that we must immediately begin tracking the sale of biological equipment and supplies to foreign Muslims in our country. We must directly contact the manufactures, resellers, and owners of this equipment urging them to report any contact by foreigners who appear to be Arab. We should pass laws that make it possible for us to instantly deport any person connected to any terrorist organization. (Perhaps they could be deported to Israel, which will know what to do with these enemies). We should begin and sustain attacks upon all terrorist Islamic groups. Our goal must be the complete destruction of these groups and their members. We should use troops. We should use all available tools to bring their supporters to heel up to and including war. We should regard all statements by their supporters as being manipulative lies and wisely resolve to judge them only by their actions.

In short we must employ the will to survive as a nation, a culture, and a people. This will take many years and cost many lives. It must start now before the terrorists and their supporters are better armed with nuclear weapons. It is time to find some backbone and some courage and act.

Jeff, it is past time already since 9/11 to round up and export the Arabs and Muslims not completely verified as legitimately in this country.

The terrorists use our faith against US, so let's take advantage of their faith that requires them to daily serve obeisance at their mosques. Liberties? These are dangerous individual people in Islamism, and they can be verified separate from the good Moslem community. We did this with the Japanese during WWII and afterward returned to our liberties. We need to do it again!

There was a great deal of arrogance about the way they conducted their attack. I interpret this as an necessary expression of the way their view the Americans. We are corrupt in their eyes and deserve to be violently punished and humiliated. They went out of their way to use our technology, our resources, and our culture against us. They basically set out to hang us on our own petard; Lenin would have appreciated this approach. Like a conman they lied repeatedly not just to achieve their ends but also to reinforce their believe in their own superiority. The gullibility of their marks only reinforced their contempt for Americans. They believe American's trusting ways and basic decency are an expression of our weakness. Our weakness in turn results from our corrupt and satanic nature, and is, in fact, proof that we are evil.

These conceits are important vulnerabilities for these Islamic fanatics. Their distorted believe system will cause them act foolishly taking unnecessary risks. It will prevent them from understanding the true nature of things at important times. They may have already overstepped themselves and may now face a future not unlike that of our enemies 60 years ago.
