Unfortunately, Islam does NOT teach to kill. So-called religious leaders, as they have done throughout the ages, are using their religion to manipulate believers to do their dirty deeds. Its about power, not about faith.

That simply is not true. You should go to a mosque sometime, you'll be surprised to find that they don't preach hatred and killing. The people that did this horrible crime are about as religious as the IRA and any other terrorist group. Terrorists don't want to be called crazy, muderous fanatics, so they hide behind religious zealotry. It's unfortunate that many people, a lot of them here on FreeRepublic, can't think rationally enough to understand this.
