I work along side of many liberal's. Most of the time I try to ignore them but when they say things like we deserved these kind of things for all the things we've done to other countries, my heart gets very troubled for these are what I thought were my friends

A $300 reward is being offered for information leading to the apprehension of several Reed High School students who took American flags Tuesday and tossed them onto Baring Boulevard in Sparks.

In the wake of the terrorist attacks in New York and Washington, D. C., Dick Popovich, owner of a bookstore called America’s Choice, said he had placed about 50 small American flags along the sidewalk in front of the Baring Boulevard Shopping Center.

Reed High is across the street, and when students took a mid-morning nutrition break, Popovich said five or six of them took off with some of the flags, throwing some into the street.

“It made me very angry,” Popovich said. “But after a while, I was just kind of frustrated and saddened by it because I just can’t imagine someone doing that to the American flag, especially when something like this is going on.

“This is an act of war against us,” Popovich said of the terrorist acts, “and it seems like some of the kids can’t tell the difference between reality and a video game or a movie. It’s really discouraging. It makes you feel empty.”

School district spokesman Steve Mulvenon said the Reed High principal will determine punishment but some students could be suspended.

The $300 reward soon soared to thousands as local radio stations reported this and donations from the citizens of Reno started pouring in to the Secret Witness fund. The punks ended up turning themselves in yesterday afternoon--three girls (evidently they heard about the price on their heads). Unfortunately, some of these kids are going to be forced to grow up very quickly in the not-too-distant future.

I don't think that the world hate the American people. They hate greed..and smirky's arrogancy and bad policies against less afluent nations, against the environment, and his determination to make the wealthy wealthier at the expense of the poor, while he hides behind false religious fanaticism. He's a rich jerk, bought and paid for and the world knows it.

I remember President Clinton visiting very poor nations and mingling with the local people, and they just loved him. He would spend hours shaking hands, talking to children and trully showing how much he loved the people of the world. Both smirky and pickles don't like touching anybody unless it's staged and under five years old. And dead-man walking cheney, I wouldn't want to meet him in a dark ally. He's a real spooook.

There is evidence that this attack was in the works for more than a year. If Bin and crew so loved Bill then why did they start this plan while he was still in office? And then ask her if poor mistreated Bin would have called it off if Gore was elected.

It is truly hard not to hate these people. One has to remember there were many Nazi sympathizers here in this country when Hitler started rolling through Europe. They were later either forced underground or had their attitudes adjusted, sometimes permanently.

Maxine Waters could sing "God Bless America" the rest of her days, but they would be only words. She is as anti-American as anyone I know who claims residence in the United States. She supports the kinds of policies that led to such mass attacks on the United States. So now she wants to assuage her "liberal guilt" by singing the Irving Berlin song?? But her constituents will cheer her forever? They are as "clueless" as she is!
