Don't know, but I'd like to find out (yeah, I know, I should probably be flamed for being The Master Of The Obvious).

"I don't know all that's in this bill"

Not a 'bill' - is a resolution that essentially gives Bush a blank check to act against 'terrorists' - criminals.

blank check

Trust it's every bit as effective in our international War Against Terrorism efforts as it's been in our War Against Drugs.

Looks like the 1.3 billion they wanted to eradicate Colombian coca plants may be on the back burner a while. Maybe.

I heard earlier today the Senate also passed a similar bill unanimously. This one is expected to pass unanimously too. It was a vote for "War To Eradicate Terrorism". The interpretation given by Brit Hume (I hope I am repeating this correctly) is that it is non-binding, but it makes is possible for the President to declare war on a moment's notice and still abide by the constitution. It's the Congress way of saying they will support a declaration of war if needed, as well as deciding to declare war on terrorism.

"...on the back burner a while..."

I would say that Congress also needs to put immigration, education, and pet pork-barrel projects on the back burner for a [long] while as well. We'll need every penny and minute we've got to win this war. Work on NOTHING else! We can educate and police ourselves thank you.

Except that there aren't as many customers in the U.S. for terrorism as there is for drugs.

God, Please Bless America and guide and help unite our nation in this troubled time.
Please Welcome Home those who have lost their lives.
Please comfort those who lost their family members and friends.
Please bless and comfort those who are injured.
Please bless and protect those who are helping the injured.
Please bless and protect our military and law enforcement.

Now is the time for ALL true Americans to UNITE and stand behind President Bush!
Any political debates can take place AFTER this crisis is handled.

UNITED WE STAND, DIVIDED WE FALL

God Bless America!
What We as Americans Can Do
1) Pray
2) Give blood and whatever else the Red Cross calls for.
3) Support our military and law enforcement.

And Finally:
HUNT DOWN AND PUBLICLY EXECUTE
THOSE RESPONSIBLE BY HANGING!

AND MAKE EXAMPLES OF THOSE WHO HIDE AND/OR SUPPORT THEM
BY MAKING THEM EAT PIG INTESTINES AND FLOGGING THEM IN PUBLIC!

We might have to be careful with the 'War' business. If Osama gets turned over to us as a 'POW', he may be eligible for protection from the geneva convention. That may limit the prosecution we could carry out (World Court for Crimes against Humanity, life in prison) vs. Death Penalty here.

Of course, a .50 BMG to the head from a mile away works just as good as do any number of explosive ordnance.
