Iraq recruited Saudi billionaire fugitive Osama Bin Laden and his Islamic allies to carry out the suicide attacks around the United States, according to Israeli intelligence.
Israeli officials and intelligence analysts said the suicide bombings that downed the World Trade Center and destroyed parts of the Pentagon was too large an operation for any one group.
The analyists said the operation was also too big even for a coalition of Islamic terrorists headed by Saudi billionaire fugitive Osama Bin Laden.

If GWB does move on Iraq, let's hope it is not 'like father, like son.'

what makes you believe that holding your breath and waiting will do anything other than cause a loss of your consciousness? does anyone here actually think that we have an Alexander, or a Churchill, or even a Patton among the snivelers known as heads of government?? parents fought in world war II. this crowd shops at nieman marcus.

I don't understand why anyone would report this kind of information (Gertz). If it is determined who is responsible, shouldn't the American public be kept in the dark until after the retaliation begins? Doesn't it give that country a heads-up? Or should we assume that the guilty country already knows it will be found out, so we don't need to worry about them finding out that "we know"? Please don't flame me. I'm asking a genuine question. I'm also getting off FR for the night, so I'll check back in tomorrow.

Interesting if true. Will there be an ultimatum to Iraq to surrender Sadam or face the consequences????

The World Trade Tower Bombing in 1993 was on the anniversary date of the start of the ground war and 9/11 was the 11th anniversary of Bush declaring in Congress that Iraq would be defeated. Iraq financed this!

Or should we assume that the guilty country already knows it will be found out I would assume they are just waiting for the incoming.

That SOB's ass is grass...
or glass; as it were.
He should give his soul to God; his ass is
ours.
This imbecile doesn't know what a
world of hurt really
means.
He's gonna find out.

I don't want a surrender. I want a glowing hole where Baghdad used to be.

well, anyone can name any enemy of theirs now, and focus some of our wrath their way... it could get messy if we're not smart about it.

And have any countries been giving Iraq aid and support?
To: Saddam Hussein
Goodbye Bagdad. We hardly knew you.

How can Iraq be bombed into the stone age if it's already in the stone age? Well, there's always the glass parking lot scenario.
