Beautiful. I've been thinking of those firefighters and cops for 36 hours. Most of the victims didn't have a choice, but they did, and took the most difficult course without hesitation. Bless them all.

Sand, my friend, my buddy...

My heart is so heavy, as I know is yours, and all the others that we work with, and my throat aches with unshed tears.

I just felt so helpless, and needed to say what I was feeling. Awkward as it is, this is the embodiment of how I feel.

Thanks for posting it here. I like knowing it's here on FR, among others who feel the outrage and helpless and unity that I feel.
