Oh, great. I just heard an FAA official on the radio saying, "no more knifes in airports." That is: no more knives of any kind ANYWHERE in an airport.

Uh, would somebody please explain to the FAA geniuses that the very ABSENCE of knives, let alone guns, on the part of the passengers and crews yesterday cost VERY MANY people their very lives.

The planes were "easy pickens" because both passengers and crews were UNARMED.

I see the FedGov is up to its usual tricks of bait and switch. The problem is over there, so they (unConstitutionally) restrict my rights over here.

This shows unthinking, knee-jerk reactions on the part of the FedGov. More tyranny is NOT the answer. Nor are unarmed sheeple -- in or outside of airports and airplanes.

I say call the White House, your Congressional reps, and the FAA and tell them: More Sarah Brady-type disarmament is not an answer, it is a ploy -- and a harmful ploy at that. Please tell them to go after the perps, not the peeps.

FYI: A guy here at work told me that his wife went to the doctor yesterday afternoon. While she was there, the receptionist's son, who is a navy seal, called and said that he was going on a mission but he couldn't say where.

Pete, with all due respect, what is the purpose of your post? I son't see much in it that relates to the topic of this thread. And I do see in it information that really does not need to be posted on a forum that can be viewed by one and all.

I guess my point is, loose lips sink ships. Our country is on the very brink of being on a war footing, please act accordingly, we all might depend on it.

Except that the permit isn't necessary. "Gun control" is illegal, and better named "victim disarmament" anyway. 25,000 illegal laws in place. Maybe this would be a good time to write to some congresscritters. Or threaten to vote Libertarian, maybe. Who knows? Somebody might listen.
