America's Most Deadly Weapon
America is at war. Soon we will be utilizing our tremendous military assets to inflict pain and death upon the people responsible. Cruise missiles will no doubt slam into buildings. Bombs will fall down the ventilation shafts of bunkers. Guys with guns will grant many Arabs wish to be with Allah, sooner rather than later. This is good and has my blessing. But, IMHO, the sorry bastards behind the attack deserve our very best weapon. I refer, of course, to Hollywood and the entertainment industry.
The astute among us realize that America has been harmed and weakened more by the cinemagraphic output from Hollywood than from the bombs and bullets in all our wars. We have been taught to laugh at our religion, to regard perversion and weirdness as normal, to treat sexuality as a game, and to snicker at drug and alcohol use. I could go on, but you know the spiel.
I read an article this morning that said 75% of Moslems approve of what happened yesterday, chiefly because of our support of Israel. No matter how many we kill in the coming days, (and my vote is for a very high body count), eventually we have to change these peoples' minds. Hollywood is very good at this sort of thing. It is time for them to pull off their attacks on Christianity, morality, and responsibility and re-direct their civilization-destroying efforts toward the Moslem world.
Since I am not of Hollywood, I can not tell them exactly how to go about it. I do have a few suggestions. Perhaps they can begin replacing homosexuals with Jews in their movies. You know what I mean. Start making movies with Arab heroes and a kooky-lovable Jew as a sidekick. The Arabs can tease him and kick him around, while he performs zany antics. The Arabs will be too busy laughing to realize they are being gulled into regarding Jews as "normal" and "non-threatening." After a few years of this, they can escalate.
And this Fundamentalist Islam stuff has got to go. We need some irreverent films where the Imams get laughed at. Where Imams have hidden kinky sexual escapades. Where Imams do hypocritical things like get drunk on their a**es while cavorting around with North Korean whores. (We can kill two birds with one stone.) Now the movies can end on an upbeat note by having the Imams stoned to death by moderates. But the important thing is that Hollywood start teaching the run of the mill Moslem schmuck to think poorly of his religion. Besides, Hollywood has picked on Christianity for too long. It grows trite and boring.
Hollywood can teach Arab kids to develop their own generational identity. MTV can start an A(Arab) T V offshoot. We can convince the Arab kids to dress weird and disrespect their elders. We can teach them to drink and use drugs. With good music, this might only take a few years.
We need to find some Hugh Hefner and Helen Gurley Brown types to start racy Arab magazines. Maybe the models will have to stay clothed for an issue or two, but the Arab-Cosmo can start "tightening up" the robes and making the most of what they have to work with. And articles, month after month, year after year, that spread "10 Arab Sex Secrets" and "15 Ways to Please your Arab Male" will work their sinister design. Marriage is about sex. Life is about sex.
The Arab-Playboy can initiate a campaign to teach Arab men that respect for their women doesn't necessarily mean fidelity. The Monthly Stereo Review article can always make some "winks" at the seductive appeal of a pair of 24 inch Desert Conqueror Speakers. Hugh Hefner was never anything but a pimp, but look how far he went.
I know that what I am calling for is a very bad thing and will hurt many people. But Remember the Big Apple!

I don't like Clancy myself. But what Hollywood is doing to him (and has done with films like "Clear and Present Danger") is _bad_ at an entirely different level than just bad writing. Mark W.
