The head of Russia's SVR foreign intelligence service, in a rare public statement, said the service was working closely with agencies in the United States, Europe and the Middle East in the wake of the attacks.

The security chief, Sergei Lebedev, said that the attacks had proved the global nature of the threat of international terrorism and the need for joint action to prevent it.

He said the aim of the present contacts was to try to discover who was responsible and to try to prevent further attacks.

The Russian domestic intelligence service, FSB, said that any significant information unearthed in Russia about the attacks would be turned over to Washington immediately.

PRESIDENT BUSH SPEECH 09-11-01 PARAPHRASED

We will identify who did this action. We will locate them. We will find out what government and country permits them to exist, either through direct or indirect support.

We will consider any country that helps them, even if it is through inaction, to be associated with these individuals. This was an act of WAR. We Americans will treat this as WAR.

The individuals whom did this directed this operation from a patch of land. Every patch of land is defined by a country. Once we identify that country, that country will experience the entire consequences of our anger. We will engage that country and the inhabitants of that country as enimies of the United States.

Because the United States is a member of NATO, all NATO allies are bound to participate with the United States against this country. If Congress determines that a state of war exists, the American people will support full operational activation of the nuclear weapons at our disposal.

The Premier of Russia has conviened with the President and has agreed to support the United States actions without question.

Is this shocking? haven't you heard this? Perhaps it is because you (any one not understanding the rage we Americans feel) do not understand the real consequences of this action. I don't know one American, not one, (and I live in Boston - Liberal Mecca of the Nation) who does not support Nuclear confliguration.

The Soviet Union WAS the largest trainer of terrorists, but the Russians can't afford it, in money terms and in bad publicity, they stopped supporting all these terrorists a long time ago, with the likes of Libya and Syria more than happy to take over, for the cause of islam......

russia is the largest supplier and trainer of terrorists in the world!

Who trained and supplied the KLA/NLA/KPC and now supports them while they TERRORISE Macedonia? Who is advocating that Macedonia should negotiate and give amnesty to these terrorists? Who trained and supplied Afghanistan in the early eighties? (Who is now most likely responsible for the attack on the US).... Who armed and trained Iraq in the eighties? Who has allowed terrorist training bases to operate in Kosovo and Bosnia? Who has opposed anyone who attempts to fight terrorism whether it be in Kosovo, Macedonia or Chechnya? Who has armed other arab states such as Saudi Arabia and Egypt (heard about the reaction in Egypt to the attack?)? Who has taken no real steps to stop terrorists like the NLA/KLA from acquiring money in the US and sending it to their maniac terrorist buddies in the Balkans (who i might add are supported by the other maniac muslim terrorists in the Middle East INCLUDING Osama Bin Laden)......................... The answer is the US!!!!!!

So the next time you want to attack another country for "arming, training or supporting" terrorism/terrorists, you should have a look at your own governments undertaking in such matters (not their bu-ls--t stated policy)

Now let me ask you.... I believe you (as an American?) are advocating that the US should kick the living s**t out of Osama and his dogs right? So maybe you can tell me why the US opposes other countries when they want to do the same thing? Maybe the US should have a look at its policy in Macedonia, where they "pressure" the Macedonian goverment to give amnesty to the TERRORISTS, and even integrate them into society (like thats f--ken possible), and copy this.... I can see it now, Osama bin Laden ambassador for the US to the UN in Human Rights..... Does that sound crazy? Well that is exactly what is happening in Macedonia...

And just so you know where my loyalties are..... I WANT the US to kick the crap out of Osama and his dogs, BUT I also want the US to allow other nations to do the same who are faced with the same f--ken terrorists.... IF this happens, then and only then can international terrorism be wiped from this world..... NO Double standards are acceptable here......

May God have mercy on the souls of the deceased......

What a selective memory you have. Ho Chi Minh - trained by US during WWII.
Saddam Hussein - armed by everyone in the Western world. Libya - provided with chemical weapons making equipment from W. Germany.
Osama Bin Laden - trained and supported by US and Pakistan throughout the 1980s. The US is still missing some stingers that it sent to the Mujahedeen... etc. etc.

Amazing, even the Russians are scared.

I dont think they are scared, rather supportive as they know what it feels like to be attacked by terrorists (in their homeland and not thousands of miles away)... They will also benefit from any attacks the US launches on Afghanistan as they too have a problem with this spastic nation (terrorists pouring out of it called Chechens)..... I hope they join forces and totally destroy these psychopaths.....

I fully (as best as possible) understand your support for the use of nuclear weapons... that does not mean that i agree, and that also does not mean that Bushi is going to use them either.... He most likely won't, if he, or hes advisors have any brains.... The ramifications of using Nukes in response to the terrorists attack would be (figuratively) worse than the attack itself.... Imagine this ---- The US nukes Afghanistan.... radiation is spreading all over the place... what is China's and Russia's reaction gonna be (completely ignoring other nation in the region - notably India and Pakistan, both nuclear powers (sic))? What will Russia's and China's reaction be to such an attack (disproportianate use of force on a massive scale)? In light of this attack, what will they believe US policy to be in regard to the use of Nukes?

Here is basically what i think would happen given the above scenario...... Russia and China initiate a massive build up of nukes (bigger than you can possibly imagine), which triggers a massive build-up by India, Pakistan and the US.... And then BOOOM.... WE HAVE NUCLEAR WAR!!!! No... I think there will be no use of nukes but instead a heavy air bombardment possibly followed by ground troops (depending on where they attack).... One thing the US has to be carefull of (and i have heard many US officials actually say this) is that they don't over-attack or attack some arab state who was not involved in the attack on the pentagon and WTC, as this would have knock-on effects that are very far reaching.....

Let's see... Russia loses a war to Afghanistan. Afghanistan harbors a terrorist who attacks America. America destroys Afghanistan. Russia moves in.

Who is the big winner in this equation?

Do you have even an inkling of historical knowledge of why the Soviets went into that God forsaken hell hole in the first place? I some how doubt it.

What would possess you to insult me instead of enlightening me?
