If you are ever hijacked........ CHARGE THEM. They cannot kill the whole manifest. If they have a gun, they will run out of ammo eventually. If they have a knife, you can overpower them. If they claim to have a bomb, make them prove it by showing you, and if they don't, rush them.

If enough people have the guts to rush these bastards, these sort of activities cannot succeed.

100% true. "Success" today will invariably breed copycat skyjackings - here and abroad - and will turn skyjacking from a very-low-risk round trip to Cuba into a suicide mission for Allah, whether passengers resist or not.

People regularly survive air crashes when airliners go down in fields or at airports. They don't survive kamikaze missions.

The only way to prevent a recurrence is to arm the pilots with guns.

Regardless, Bin Laden will use another tactic next time. The only thing that can be done now is to close the Afghan borders, attack all terrorist and military targets, demand Bin Laden dead or alive in 48 hours; then take over the gov't; after another 48 hours begin destroying the infrastructure; then begin negotiations.

You can thank the over feminization of America. I myself have studied Martial Arts, and am a military vet. The thing that make me the most angry, is that we've told people in the past, "Don't Be A Hero." Look what it's gotten us. Sure if you die your family will grieve, but think about how many others will die. Especially when things like this happen.

It's too bad that Rosie O'Donnell wasn't on one of those planes. Maybe her security guard with the gun could have made a difference.

There was another thread somewhere which said that a strong door endangers the plane in the event of an sudden depressurization..that's why the barrier can't be too strong...

This entire disaster could have been averted if the pilots NOT OPENED THEIR CABIN DOOR!!!! There should be reinforcement and strict rules regarding cabin door security.

Not just the men- women too have been 'tamed' in modern America. I call it liberalization rather than feminization. Women of my grandmother's era, accustomed to killing their own food, would have been all over the scum with their purses, canes, you name it until the males had to act to protect them.
