Silly reasoning but then again you can't even get your timeline straight. Have you ever heard of the Soviet union and how they wanted to crush America forever? What were we supposed to do...lie down, confine ourselves within our borders, not get involved and get sucked into nuclear war or maybe even be defeated? Then where would you be with all your libertarian freedoms...Huh?

It's one thing to act in our nation's defense, but a totally different animal when we start imposing (through force or the threat of it) our version of how the world ought to be on other people. I would think that anyone who has spent any significant time on FR could understand that. Apparently that's not the case.
