He better have something stronger than "we are going to track down those responsible.... and punish them"

Yep - confirmed. May be one of the most important presidential addresses in our lifetimes.

What do you want, details broadcast to the terrorists?
Go pound sand.
To: kjam22
We will soon know if we have a man or a mouse.
Personally I hope he announces we have launched.

A tough job for Bush, to try to prop up the American people during this tragic time.
God bless President Bush.

He better have something stronger than "we are going to track down those responsible.... and punish them" Would you prefer he say, "We're going to pick a random country we don't like and blow them up!"
I'm sorry, my friend, but I want the ones WHO did it and anyone who aided and abetted them in any way. If that takes a little investigative leg work, because the cowards aren't standing and crowing about it, then so be it. I would also take out anyone who claims responsibility just in case they're telling the truth.
I agree with you, however, that it should be swift. We're still waiting for retaliation for the USS Cole from last fall. Maybe our lethargy on that bombing helped encourage those who planned this.

Nuke 'em till they glow G.W.
Kill 'em all, let God sort it out far as I'm concerned. EVERY SINGLE TERRORIST Organization should be a target for the U.S. right now.
Spare None. Kill 'em all.

#4....It's comforting to see you here.
I've been looking for you all.....worried about the Chairman, ken and others.

Would you prefer "Aah feel their pain", complete with biting his lower lip?
I just deleted what I called you - no personal attacks, you know.

We will soon know if we have a man or a mouse. My, you are incredibly obtuse. President Bush has conducted himself well. Give the President a break and see what he has to say.

I hope he is circumspect. What is the point of empty rhetoric when all the facts are not necessarily known. We don't even know the exact perpetrator. We need to show resolve; we need to formulate a plan on so many levels: higher intelligence better defense; plans to protect banking; plans to protect our major cities; plans to protect our major media. It is a new age.

Nicely said!
I would prefer that he would go to NORAD in Cheyenne Mountain!
This may just be Phase I, to damage the President would be a Great Victory for the Terrorists!
Beyond what they have already achieved.
This will surely wake up the sleeping sheeples!

This is very good news. He needs to address the nation from the oval office.

Now is the time to speak with actions, not words. I could care less what he tells us tonight as long as he has plans in the works to turn the country who harbored these terrorists into the largest pile of glass ever seen on Earth.

How about "I'm going to spank my monkey in the sink"? That's what his predecessor did.
To: mombonn
I voted for Bush. And I am one of his biggest fans. But I don't want to hear "we are going to track down those that are responsible... and punish them" again.
I agree that all terrorist organizations that spout propaganda against the United States are potential targets. Start with those cheering in Lebanon.
