According to CBC Newsworld(Canada), the hijacked plane is being escorted to Whitehorse by the military.....
I'm still trying to get to the actual website...traffic is bad.

Has the ATRW thread been pulled? I had to leave for a while and now I can't find it. Any word from Chairman?

Really?
If so, this would most likely be a plane that was intercepted and has been up for hours.
Maybe we thwarted some of them.
All planes are down and there has been no flights since early this morning.

Maybe we thwarted some of them Yes, but it may have been costly. Did we shoot down the plane that had turned toward Washington, D.C. and then crashed in Pennsylvania?
To: DEADROCK
I'm now hearing on the radio that the plane has landed in Yellowknife(NWT) and is surrounded by police/military.

I think this is also being reported on something called NewsWorld International, which is currently being broadcast in place of the Home Shopping Network. They mentioned something about Whitehorse before going back to talk about the stuff we already know.

I think Newsworld International is also Canadian.

According to
this report, the plane may be a Korean Airlines jet.
To: DEADROCK
Aircraft turned out to have two nervous pilots who managed to send two distress signals from the cockpit; which signals mean hijacking.
The aircraft arrived safely at the alternate site.
